The role of Learning Analytics
 • beneficial to users in every step of their SRL processes
   at workplace, i.e. when

       – identifying their learning needs and setting their goals
             • To get aware how other employees with similar organizational
               positions have defined their goals

       – monitoring their learning progress
             • To compare it with that of their colleagues

       – Sharing/documenting their learning experiences
             • to observe how actively their colleagues are sharing their learning
               experiences and comparing it with their own sharing activities

       – Supports Harmonization of individual and

       learning goals and the competences included within those
       goals

         (these preferences are used to adjust the recommendations generated

Current and future work
 • If and to what extend the Analytics features of Learn-B, along
   with its other functionalities, address the existing challenges
   in supporting workplace learning.

 • Further development work
       – support for documenting and sharing learning experiences
       – support for collaborative learning

 • An evaluation of Learn-B in 3 different workplace settings
   over a 2 month period
       – Identified issues in the conducted user study inform
         our further research
