One of the main duties for a production manger is to keep the finance and the budget organized, in
order to make sure the budget is not over the price limit that they have for the production, that is one
of the main day to day jobs the production manager would have, as the budget has to be within the

production have to always report back to the stage manager, which then the stage manager reports back
to the director of any of the issues that should be looked into. The stage manager has a number of
duties to perform throughout the entire production process, some of which he might delegate to other

The role of a video editor is to prepare the final edit of the product. By doing this they start by taking
any raw footage at the post production stage and choosing the best shots, they then out the shots they
have chosen in order, as well as the sound, graphics and special effects in which what the director would
want. Video editors would usually use digital technology as well as computer software to edit the
picture and sound. With the help of the software you can edit any type of projects such as feature films,
TV programs, commercials etc.
