channel its calls and messages.
• It allows group messaging.
• It allows free calls and messaging.
• The app is not available for platforms other than
Android, iOS, BlackBerry and Windows Phone.

• No need to register, use your mobile phone
number.
• Unlimited free calls and text messages to
other Viber users.
• Group text messages.
• Huge user base.

4. Cons.
• No calling and messaging to non-Viber users.
• Not available for most phone models including
Nokia, Symbian etc.
• Reduced quality with low Wi-Fi or 3G signals.

5. Setting up and interface
• Vey easy setting up
• Simple and friendly inteface

6. Any teaching use?
• The group messaging could be used for
writing short paragraphs but it cannot be used
synchronically by the users.
• The free call service could be used for
improving speaking and listening of individual
learners.
