‘My Language Map’
Part 1: Presentation
• Your task is to design and give a presentation for
the interactive whiteboard which includes images, text
and sound.
• Your audience is your fellow students.
• Your presentation should contain four main slides
covering the following key areas:
(1) Title
(2) My language history
(3) Languages in the classroom (either EAL or MFL)
(4) My personal and professional learning

Criteria for presentation: 50%
• a creative combination of images and sound and/or
video using original media where possible
• to make use of dynamic or interactive features present
in the software used
• presented in a manner which engages and involves the
audience
• an understanding of the importance of developing
children’s awareness of language (either in relation to MFL
or EAL)
• an appropriate use of Standard English (spoken and
written)
• an ability to adhere to time limit.
