2. Entering the Building
• ID’s must be visible
– If you forget your ID, you must go see Mr. Hicks to
receive a 1 Day ID pass
• Must be in uniform (shirt, pants, shoes, belt)
• Breakfast is served in cafeteria until 8:40
• After breakfast students will put all
unnecessary items in locker
– Jackets, Hoodies, Hats, Cell Phones…etc.
3. Uniform
• Polo and Khaki Pants
– 12th Grade
• Red Shirt
• Belt
– 11th Grade
• Yellow Shirt
• Belt
– 10th Grade
• Blue Shirt
• Belt
– 9th Grade
• White Shirt
• Belt
5. Transitions
• Up to you to use time effectively
– 4 Minutes
– Bathroom/Locker/Talking etc…
• No yelling, cursing…etc.
• No use of technology (Cell phone, head
phones…etc.)
• Be on time!
6. Tardies
• Scaffold Scale
– 1st Qtr: 3 Tardies = Detention*
– 2nd Qtr: 2 Tardies = Detention*
– 3rd/4th Qtr: 1 Tardy = Detention*
• *Hall Sweeps may occur during 1st and 2nd Qtr
– If student is caught in hall sweep, they will receive automatic
detention
• Students must sign in at VIP upon entering
classroom
– Student must complete do-now before receiving
permission to return to seat
7. Cafeteria Policy
• Use bathroom before/after Breakfast/Lunch
• No moving chairs from other tables
– There is a set number of seats per table
– Please remain seated until given permission to do
so
• YOU are responsible for YOUR trash at the
table
8. Universal Classroom Procedures
• Make sure you have all materials before entering
the classroom
• Enter the classroom calm/quiet
• Drop off homework in basket
• Pick up any materials
• Find assigned seat and begin quietly completing
the “do-now”
• If you do not have a pen/pencil, swap your ID for
one
• Raise hand when completed
9. UCP con’t…
• Stay in seat until given permission to do so
– Yes this means even if you have to blow your nose,
sharpen your pencil, throw away something…etc
• Only one person out of the class at a time
– Students must sign out and sign in
• Failure to do so will result in loss of bathroom privileges
for week
• No passes first or last 10 minutes of class
