The integration of a database-driven, content-managed online learning
centre within the society’s website.
The online learning centre includes self-study course modules and
interactive, tutor-led case-studies.
The project is funded by Allergan, Merck, Medtronic and Pfizer.

2. International Headache Society
• The International Headache Society is a global membership
organisation and the official body for headache and migraine
categorisation.
• The members-only section includes a custom developed e-learning
section developed during 2008-2010 and which has been funded by
pharmaceutical companies Merck, Medtronic and Pfizer.
• The new section was designed to seamlessly integrate with the
existing site and legacy technology.
• The e-learning section features database-driven video and reading
libraries, interactive case-based learning and podcasts.
• All content and case studies are managed via a custom content
management system.
• In 2011 it is planned to add a hosted service using Adobe Connect
which will provide support for a more ‘classroom’ like user
experience and real-time video conferencing etc.
