GCSE Prelim Revision. The document provides advice and a schedule for revising for GCSE preliminary exams over the Christmas break. It explains that prelims give students practice and help teachers predict final grades. It recommends studying for 2 hours above regular work each weekend in November and December leading up to the exams. Predicted grades are important because examiners may adjust final grades to match predictions if department predictions were largely accurate. Students should study in a dedicated, distraction-free space away from televisions, phones, and the internet to best prepare.
