5. Currently, there is not any documentation of the new capabilities we can offer and that my clients need. When you “google” dti, “dti global, document technologies, inc etc… - nothing comes up When my clients put our offerings in a query- dti does not come up. One really has to search. Our Story :

7. We understand and have pinpointed our audience and that is a huge part of a successful marketing strategy. Why not market ourselves to them? This seems self evident, but it is currently overlooked.

Michael Hamilton: Optimization and Public Perception is Imperative: The “lit support” industry is going in two separate directions. As a company- we need to make it a priority that we change the way our target market perceives us. ‘ Copy Vendors’, in general and the salesmen they employ have cheapened the industry. They over promise, lack follow through, focus on quick profits and don’t deliver. They also look cheap. Potential clients are now jaded and the way they view us is cheap. There is a need, however, for the services ‘lit support vendors’ provide, but because the public perception of DTI is more along the same lines as the competition, we need to change the way we are categorized. Potential clients will use their current vendor until he screws up. This is the only reason why the “I just want to offer my services as a backup” strategy actually works. That is so lame. I look at other vendors as a benchmark of what not to be and take a more professional approach. As a company- we need to position ourselves and market ourselves differently from the Willy Lomans’. We can do this by not only moving forward in the direction that we are heading, but by also making it known. We need to be more professional, avant-garde and marketable. We need to differentiate ourselves from the shit heads and command more respect like IBM, Accenture, Lionbridge, HP, Deloitte etc… The industry is becoming less ‘service- oriented’ and more Consultative.
