                            The Training and Placement Department organizes a number of training programs for
                            the students with the help of in-house experts. The activities have proved exceptionally

                            members and Councillors/Co-Councillors in moulding the students to the requirements
                            of the hospitality industry.
Admission Process
                            Student Internship (Training) for a designated period of time is mandatory for all the
                            Diploma - HMT / BSc - HMT students usually in their 2nd year. The Training and
Academic Progress           Placement Department arranges for national & global (in countries like U.K.,
                            Germany, U.S.A., Singapore, etc) paid student internship.

                            Placements for the Final year students shall begin early September and continue till
                            March and sometimes till May; thereby ensuring maximum advantage to the students.
                            The Training and Placement Department shall facilitate on campus recruitment by
                            giving a common platform to students seeking jobs. It invites Five Star properties and
                            other recruiters such as Airlines and International fast-food chains to be a part of the
                            placement process at SET-CHAT.

                                       under the provisions of The Bombay Public Trust Act, 1950. The main
                                       objective being to promote education at all levels. Shah Education Trust

                                       dynamic rate. Today the hospitality industry contributes invaluably to the

Looking at the pace of growth of the hospitality industry, it is envisaged that there will soon be a marked shortage of managerial and Shah Education Trust technically skilled professionals. Keeping this in mind, our curriculum is designed to meet the challenges and demands of domestic and global Mission Statement & Objective markets.
