February

Mr.
Robert
Titchener,
President
Abu
Dhabi
Ladies
Club
Yas
Island,
U.A.E.
Dear
Mr.
Titchener,
When
an
Emirati
girl
is
asked
“Where
do
you
go
to
have
fun?”
her
reply
will
most
likely
be,
“The
mall,
where
else
is
there
to
go?”
We
should
change
her
answer
to
“Abu
Dhabi
Ladies
Club”.
I
am
proposing
a
new
addition
to
your
club
called
“Splash
Away!”,
which
will
undoubtedly
attract
more
than
80
percent
of
young
Emirati
girls
across
the
Emirate.
Your
organization
provides
a
place
for
women
of
the
Emirates
to
workout,
pamper
themselves,
or
chill
out
on
the
beach.
Why
not
expand
their
options
with
one
simple
criteria,
FUN!
The
UAE
is
famous
for
the
sun
and
its
water
sports.
However,
since
it
is
a
Muslim
country
and
more
than
half
of
the
female
population
wear
a
veil,
their
options
for
places
to
go
are
limited.
Since
the
majority
of
young
Emirati
females
enjoy
water
sports,
I
propose
to
start
a
water
sports
program
(Splash
Away!)
that
includes:
jet
skiing,
parasailing,
banana
boats,
surfing,
wakeboarding,
body
boarding,
canoeing,
kayaking,
kite
surfing,
and
wind
surfing.
There
are
a
total
of
5
water
parks
in
the
UAE,
which
are
all
located
in
the
Northern
Emirates.
In
addition,
only
“Wild
Wadi”
offers
ladies
night,
hence
the
reason
it
is
packed
every
Thursday.
Young
women
need
a
place
to
go
in
Abu
Dhabi
as
well,
why
not
the
Ladies
Club?
Although
your
organization
is
not
a
water
park,
you
shall
have
an
advantage
because
of
the
extra
facilities
you
currently
offer.
The
campaign
should
include
a
number
of
tactics
to
successfully
communicate
the
new
action
packed
addition.
It’s
important
to
target
the
public
that
includes
teens
and
young
adults
who
have
a
need
for
the
thrill
on
water.
We
shall
target
young
women
in
Abu
Dhabi
who
love
sports
and
travel
all
the
way
to
Dubai
to
satisfy
their
needs.
Therefore,
I
propose
we
consider
the
following
tactics:
• Print
Ads:
posters
shall
be
distributed
in
shopping
malls.
Billboards
expressing
the
fun
of
the
new
addition
shall
be
put
up
just
before
Marina
Mall,
where
it
shall
be
easily
seen.
• TV
Ad:
it
will
need
to
be
shown
after
5:00
pm
on
family
channels
as
well
as
fashion
channels
where
women
are
most
likely
to
be
watching.
• Brochures:
to
be
distributed
in
universities
in
Abu
Dhabi
like
Zayed
University
and
Abu
Dhabi
University.
They
both
have
a
large
female
section
which
will
have
the
majority
of
our
target.
• News
release:
Ahlan
and
Time
Out
magazine
are
very
common
among
young
Emirati
women
for
its
gossip,
fashion,
and
latest
events.
Therefore,
we
can
use
3. these
magazines
to
write
about
the
new
fun-‐filled
addition
to
reach
our
public
target.
Since
you
do
not
have
to
worry
about
competitors
in
Abu
Dhabi,
as
you
would
be
the
only
organization
that
offers
water
sports
for
females
only,
the
campaigns
are
most
important
to
increase
awareness
of
the
new
expansion.
I
have
a
great
insight
into
the
needs
and
wants
of
the
female
youth
today,
as
I
am
a
young
adult
myself
who
has
heard
a
number
of
females
wishing
there
was
a
place
they
can
go
to
“have
a
day
they
would
never
forget.”
I
can
be
a
huge
help
in
giving
you
insight
into
what
shall
be
the
most
successful
steps
to
take
towards
your
public
target.
I
believe
together
we
can
expand
your
clients
as
well
as
increase
your
reputation
and
profits.

I
would
be
honored
to
work
with
you
to
make
Abu
Dhabi
Ladies
Club
the
first
place
a
woman
would
go
to
have
an
unforgettable
experience.
