. In the book, EX MEX from Migrants to Immigrants, Jorge G. Castaneda describes the experiences of the Mexican immigration to the United States in ways of risking their life’s when crossing the border, the laws that have been passed during the years and the reasons why Mexicans leave their country.  Immigration Issues
When trying to cross the border immigrants were dying of dehydration, sunstroke, snakebite, and exposure.  Another thing that Mexicans are facing when trying to cross the border is that “Polleros”, has increased its price.  There has been more security and more walls have been made in order to stop the Mexicans for not crossing the border.  Consequences when trying to cross:
They suffer extremely pain, exhaustion, fear and humiliation because they think everything they do is worth it at the end.  They first start with a lower paying job or many other have more than two jobs in order to have a better life. Castaneda also says that Mexicans come to the United States in order to work hard to achieve all their goals.  Reasons Why immigrants leave
In the book EX MEX from Migrants to Immigrants, Jorge G. Castaneda describes the circumstances that Mexicans face day to day in order to survive in a multiracial country as the United States. With good experiences such as examples of real people stories Castaneda describes the lives of many Mexicans in this country. EXMEX
