This document describes Moladi, a company established in 1986 that provides an innovative construction system for affordable housing. The Moladi system uses reusable plastic formwork to construct homes and other buildings quickly and cost effectively. It addresses issues with traditional brick construction methods like unreliable supplies, skilled labor dependence, waste, and unpredictable costs and timelines. The Moladi method allows construction with unskilled labor, minimal waste, lower costs, and more consistent quality compared to brick construction. The system has been used to construct over 30,000 homes as well as other buildings like clinics and schools since 1987.
