The document discusses ways to conserve oil and gas resources for future generations. It proposes implementing natural gas as an alternative fuel source. Natural gas is readily available, cheaper than other energy options, and could help reduce dependency on oil and gas. The document recommends applying the "secretary problem" approach of selecting the best alternative among the options available, and concludes that natural gas is currently the most effective solution for preserving the oil and gas industry.

3. Introduction
The problem of hiring a new and appropriate candidate out of the available limit of the
candidates is known as Secretary Problem. This issue talks about the hiring of the candidate
in an interview for a particular position in the company. By implementing the Secretary
Problem in the process of interview the management or the person in-charge of the interview
and selecting the candidate, can simplify the elimination process of candidates along with
hiring the most eligible candidate out of the applicants.
It can be actually explained as, taking a decision under uncertain situations or circumstances.
The probability of taking the right decision in difficult time by the management of the
company is about solving the issue (Sulkowska, 2012).
The stopping rule provides a mechanism for the interviewer to continue with the process of
hiring the right candidate or stopping with the hiring process (Page, 2015). Usually the hiring
process is done for any particular position in the company by selecting the proper candidate
as per the quality of the candidate, requirement of the company and performance of the
candidate in the interview.
Problem statement
The problem here is of saving the resources of the environment so that our future generation
can avail the resources. Oil and gas industry is considered to be the most essential industry
taken part in the development of the global economy. The world is taking effect of saving this
industry and resources by inventing use of solar energy and electric cars.
But the question is does the initiatives of saving the energy or resource is actually working in
the right way and providing a better result.
Aims and objective
The aim of the research study is:
“To find the best possible way to reserve gas and oil resource and implementing a new idea
in the system”
The objectives of the research study:
To manage the usage of oil and gas in the companies
4. To design the new idea of saving the resource
To select the appropriate way to implement the new idea
Main context
Problem
The problem of the research study is on reserving the resources in such a way that it should
have effective result. Actually the topic here is about taking the right decision during the
difficult times of the company. With a wrong decision during any difficult circumstances of
the company, the company will face loss in following the process (Garrod and Morris, 2012).
Reserving the resources is done by the authorities of the respective countries but the initiative
is somewhere not so effective and still there is a chance of having a scarcity of the resource in
future. The way by which the oil can be reserved effectively for the future is the main
problem in the present time or the current situation.
Solution
There are many initiatives taken already in the globe to save the resource by oil and gas
industry being the most vital industry of all; people are still using the fuel energy for their
purpose. Here the strategy to solve the issue will be calculating the possibility of taking the
best possible solution for the industry (Chudjakow and Riedel, 2012). It can be explained in a
manner that if the management takes a new decision for solving the issue, they have to be
sure that the solution taken as the decision is to be selected out of all the solutions provided
by the team working on it (Oveis Gharan and Vondrák, 2013).
For example: The management of a company is facing issue with the operation process of the
company. The management team takes decision and proposed their individual ideas to the
general manager of the company. Here the decision remains with the general manager as he
has to select the best idea out of all the proposed ideas of the management.
Here the government is the one who will be taking the initiative of reserving the resource for
the future. The government can take the idea from various sources and implement the best
possible of the proposed in the system.
Developing New Idea
5. When comes reserving the oil resource the idea of saving the fuel energy is done by using
other energy in place of fuel energy to maintain the electronic device used today and not
wasting the fuel energy in major amount. The idea for find the effective way of reserving the
oil resource is by following the “one at a time” system as under the Secretary Problem
(Tramper et al., 2012). In order to maintain the resource for the future perspective the Fuel
energy can be substituted by other energy. There are much more energy types used in the
present scenario but considering the natural gas fuel as the most effective as this will be
available for the people easily and the oil resource will be reserve actually.
Implementation
The natural gas energy is available easily and is expected to be used by all. Other types of
energy are not so popular and people find fuel energy as the convenient one to use, thus
making the use of fuels still in the country and globe. Implementation of natural gas will be
easy and it is done with the vehicles, people will find the usage and availability of natural gas
as easier than other sources. Thus if any alternative can be implemented in place of the oil
reserve natural gas can be suggested. The reserve of the resource is necessary and with the
natural gas as implementation in the system people will find it cheaper and will prefer the
substitute (Zhang and Xu, 2014).
Conclusion
Oil and gas industry being the most vital and used industry in the globe and saving the fuel
energy is quiet difficult when people find it convenient more than other resources. Natural
gas fuel is the resources that people can implement in their daily lives and that will cost them
less than other energy usage. Thus natural gas energy is the best possible solution out of all
the solution available at present thus by applying the Secretary Problem it can be concluded
that out of all the available resources the natural gas fuel is the most effective for saving the
oil and gas industry.
