Credit Suisse has hired Chris Gaertner from Bank of America Merrill Lynch as a high-ranking technology banker, the firm announced in an internal memorandum obtained by DealBook on Tuesday. When he starts in July, Mr. Gaertner will become a managing director and the head of global corporate finance for the tech group, according to the memo from Mark Simonian and David Wah, Credit Suisse’s global co-heads of technology, media and telecom investment banking.
