There is the ever so common excuse to blame their deaths on steroids, although many wrestlers have admitted to taking steroids, it is not the sole cause as to why so many of them have been dying in the last 15 years at an early age (some even before they turn 50). Wrestlers take in an incredible amounts of physical pain from performing mainly every night; many take a deadly combination of steroids and painkillers which can lead to terrible heart conditions. Also who knows what other substances abuse an individual may do. Some wrestlers are just overweight and usually die of heart attack or stroke. In some rare cases a couple of wrestlers have committed suicide or have died doing a stunt
