1. Signing up for Edmodo

2. Objectives
• Sign up for Edmodo
• Read Terms of Service

3. Open internet browser (Internet Explorer or Firefox) and
type “edmodo.com” in the address bar and hit “Enter”.

4. This will take you to the main page of Edmodo where you
will sign up.

5. Find where it says “I’m a Student” and click on it.

6. This will bring you to the “Student Sign Up” page.

7. Fill in the Group Code given to you by your teacher.

8. Choose a Username you will remember. The user name
must be unique and something you will remember.

9. Edmodo will let you know if your Username is available. You will
not be able to continue until you have found a unique
Username.

10. Choose a password you will remember but someone else
won’t be able to guess. Write the password in a safe
place. If you lose your password, on of your teachers
using Edmodo can reset it for you. Don’t try and make a
new account just because you forget your password!

11. Edmodo gives you the option of including your email
address. This is for receiving alerts from Edmodo, which
we will talk about in a later tutorial. You can add an email
account later if you decide you want to use it.

12. Enter your real first and last names. This helps the teacher
identify who you are when you sign up for a class. Teachers may
delete you from the class page if they don’t know who you are.

13. Click on the link and read the “Terms of Service”.

14. Once you have read the “Terms of Service”, Click “Sign Up”…

15. … And you are now at your “Home Page”! Congrats!
