• In Year 7, you are tested in September and again in
July – this can show how much you have progressed!

3. Each Thursday, you will
receive a set of spellings.
You will be tested on a
Tuesday.
Your spellings will be given
to you on a sheet, it will
include the word in a
sentence and a space for
you to practice.
Don’t worry if you lose
your spellings, they will be
on the VLE – so NO
excuses!
4. Spellings that you are given will work with a particular
sound or spelling rule.
Each week when you receive your spelling sheets, the
rule or sound will be explained on the top.
