About MaxGXL
MaxGXL’s™ Patented Formula Dramatically Increases Intracellular GSH.

MaxGXL™ provides the proper nutrients needed to promote the body's own ability to manufacture and absorb
glutathione. MaxGXL™ also aids in liver support. by destroying environmental toxins, thus helping the liver to
function as the main production site and storehouse for glutathione.

The graph below shows the increase in glutathione levels experienced by 4 groups of people. Group 1 was
tested after 6 months of use, while Groups 2, 3 and 4 were tested after only 3 months of the MaxGXL regimen.

The data indicate MaxGXL‘s™ effectiveness not only in populations who are immune-suppressed, but also in
those who are stressed, aging, lacking sleep, or with any prolonged illness. In these situations, MaxGXL™
stimulates the body's production of glutathione to compensate for the body's accelerated use of it, strengthening
your natural defenses, decreasing your risk of illness, and guarding against the effects of the body's aging
process.

Glutathione: The Body's Master Antioxidant glutathione (GSH) is a small protein produced naturally in our
cells when certain required elements are present. It functions both as an antioxidant and an antitoxin and is a
major defense system against illness and aging. Our glutathione level actually indicates our state of health and
can predict longevity. Although there are more than 60,000 published papers on the beneficial effects of
glutathione replacement, it is still largely ignored by mainstream medicine. . In the near future the importance of
glutathione will be widely recognized because it has the ability to boost the immune system and fight off the
damage of free radicals on the cells.

Glutathione has been shown to slow down the aging process, detoxify and improve liver function, strengthen
the immune system, and reduce the chances of developing cancer. Glutathione also works to help improve
mental functions, increase energy, improve concentration, permit increased exercise, and improve heart and
lung function - just to name a few.

Increasing Age and Other Factors Reduce the Body’s Production and Utilization of GSH. Research has shown
that individuals who have low levels of glutathione are susceptible to chronic illness. Research shows that GSH
levels decline by 8% to 12% per decade, beginning at the age of 20. Levels of glutathione are further reduced by
continual stress upon the immune system such as illness, infection, and environmental toxins. As we now know,
a lowered immune system can bring about illness and disease. This is a ferocious cycle. While you need
glutathione for a productive immune system, a weakened immune system hampers the production of
glutathione.

Supplements Containing Glutathione Alone Will NOT Increase the Body’s GSH Levels. It is pointless to
purchase supplements that merely contain glutathione, because the digestive system breaks down ingested
glutathione and it will not be absorbed into your system. On the other hand, MaxGXL™ provides the proper
nutrients needed to promote the body's own ability to manufacture and absorb glutathione. MaxGXL™ also aids
in liver support by destroying environmental poisons helping the liver to function as the main production site
and storehouse for glutathione.

The Max Story
The Breakthrough

In 1994, Dr. Robert H. Keller founded The BIODORON Institute of Advanced Medicine, a state-of-the-art
medical clinic specializing in cutting-edge treatment for immune system disorders and anti-aging.

After reviewing subject lab results for years, Dr. Keller noticed a trend. He kept seeing significantly low levels
of uric acid in subjects with immune disorders. He decided to explore this finding, and his initial research
concluded that uric acid is the last antioxidant at the body's disposal when all the normal antioxidants have been
exhausted.

As Dr. Keller has always been a strong advocate of nutrition, he went back in the literature, seeking the answer
to one question: If uric acid is the body's last defense, then what is the first? His investigation led him to a
substance called glutathione.

Glutathione (GSH): The Master Antioxidant

Dr. Keller discovered that the most prevalent, powerful and multifunctional antioxidant in the human body –
employed by every organ – is glutathione.

Glutathione (GSH) is a small protein produced naturally in our cells if the requisite precursors are present. It
functions both as an antioxidant and an antitoxin and is a major defense system against illness and aging. Our
glutathione level actually indicates our state of health and can predict longevity. It has been suggested that in
the future, GSH levels will be closely monitored. There are over 70,000 medical articles currently published on
GSH, yet most health professionals have only a vague idea of its significance. In the near future, the importance
of glutathione will be widely recognized.

The Test
After learning of the importance of GSH, Dr. Keller needed to test the hypothesis that the levels of GSH in
subjects with immune disorders were, in fact, severely diminished. To get a current and accurate gauge of a
subject's GSH level, Dr. Keller knew the test must measure GSH inside of lymphocytes (white blood cells);
however, no such lab test existed.

Using a state-of-the-art medical laboratory, Dr. Keller and his team of scientists developed a proprietary lab test
to measure levels of GSH inside the lymphocytes.

The tests confirmed the hypothesis. People who are stressed, aging, lacking sleep, or with any prolonged illness
utilize glutathione at an accelerated rate resulting in decreased bodily stores, weakened defenses, and increased
risk of illnesses including accelerated aging.

The Challenge

It was clear that the GSH levels needed to be replenished in these subjects. But how? Glutathione is produced
naturally from three amino acids: glycine, glutamine, and cysteine. These essential precursors of GSH must be
able to make it from the mouth to the gut, then through the cells walls and subsequently the mitochondrial
membrane. Therein lays the challenge.

Unfortunately, raising our body's glutathione levels is extremely difficult for two reasons. Eating enough
glutathione-rich foods only works in an idealized world where stress, deadlines and fast food are not factors.
Orally supplementing glutathione is a good idea, but just not practical. The fragile tripeptide structure of
glutathione makes surviving the digestive tract a near impossibility.

The Solution: MaxGXL

After years of research and development, Dr. Keller created MaxGXL, a product containing the necessary
components of glutathione that when absorbed into the body; stimulate the body’s own production of
glutathione in every cell of the body.

Supplement Facts
The Glutathione Accelerator

Below is a synopsis of each of these ingredients individually to give more of an idea of the synergy of this
product. MAXGXL uses the highest grade (GST grade), of each ingredient in a synthesized and patented
formula that together works wonders on the human body by promoting and enhancing the body's production &
use of its most important antioxidant, Glutathione.

Vitamin C (as Calcium Ascorbate) 250mg
Calcium Ascorbate is an optimal nutritional supplement that combines Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C) with
Calcium Carbonate. By combining these two dietary ingredients, it is a buffered source of Vitamin C that will
not contribute to gastric irritation in sensitive persons.

I-Glutamine 750 mg
This is the most abundant of the amino acids in the human body. Its main storage site is in the musculature;
where about 60% of all the unbound amino acids are glutamine (glutamine makes up a smaller percentage of
muscle protein, the main bound form). Glutamine has been called a quot;conditionally essentialquot; nutrient, because it
is non-essential in normal situations (manufactured by the body in adequate quantities; not required in the diet),
but in illness or injury becomes insufficient (there is then a need for supplementation from the diet or other
sources).

N Acetyl Cysetine (NAC) 375 mg
N-Acetylcysteine is derived from the sulfur-containing amino acid, cysteine. It is produced naturally in the body
and is also obtained from the diet. Along with glutamic acid and glycine NAC is a precursor to glutathione,
which is the body's most important cellular antioxidant. Proponents of NAC find that NAC is an immune
enhancer; prevents and treats cancer; detoxifies heavy metals; treats smoker's cough and bronchitis; prevents
heart disease; slows progression of HIV; relieves hangover symptoms; reduces exercise fatigue. It is used as a
supplement for bronchitis, HIV infection, cystic fibrosis, cancer chemotherapy support, acetaminophen
poisoning, heavy metal poisoning, and septic shock.

Alpha Lipoic Acid 75mg

Quite Possibly the quot;Universalquot; Antioxidant. The body needs ALA to produce energy. It plays a crucial role in
the mitochondria, the energy-producing structures in cells. The body actually makes enough ALA for these
basic metabolic functions. This compound acts as an antioxidant, however, only when there is an excess of it
and it is in the quot;freequot; state in the cells. But there is little free ALA circulating in your body, unless you consume
supplements or get it injected. Foods contain only tiny amounts of it. What makes ALA special as an
antioxidant is its versatility—it helps deactivate an unusually wide array of cell-damaging free radicals in many
bodily systems. In particular, ALA helps protect the mitochondria and the genetic material, DNA. As we age,
mitochondrial function is impaired, and it's theorized that this may be an important contributor to some of the
adverse effects of aging. ALA also works closely with vitamin C and E and some other antioxidants,
quot;recyclingquot; them and thus making them much more effective.

Cordyceps 300mg

Cordyceps sinensis, known in China as Dong Chong Xia Cao (quot;Summer Grass, Winter Wormquot;) and in the West
as Cordyceps or The Caterpillar Fungus, has long been used in Traditional Chinese Medicine for the promotion
of cardiovascular, sexual and immune system health and as a general energizing tonic, as it oxygenates the
blood. Traditional Chinese Medicine have used it to treat fatigue and other ailments for 1,500 years.

N Acetyl D-Glucosamine 125 mg

Used to strengthen immune function & is one of the building blocks of joint tissue and other connective tissues.
In certain studies have been known to restrain and treat cancer. As to all kinds of inflammations, it is able to aid
in therapy effectively. And also bone arthritis and joint pains have been reduced with using it alone or together
with MSM.

Quercetin 37.5mg
This is an anti-oxidant that belongs to a group of plant pigments called flavonoids that are largely responsible
for the colors of many fruits, flowers, and vegetables. Flavonoids, such as quercetin, provide many health-
promoting benefits. They act as antihistamines (which are useful in reducing allergy symptoms) and help reduce
inflammation associated with various forms of arthritis. Quercetin also works as an antioxidant by scavenging
damaging particles in the body known as free radicals. These particles occur naturally in the body but can
damage cell membranes, interact with genetic material, and possibly contribute to the aging process as well as
the development of a number of conditions including heart disease and cancer. Antioxidants such as quercetin
can neutralize free radicals and may reduce or even help prevent some of the damage they cause.

Milk Thistle Extract (Silybum Marianum) 25mg
Milk Thistle has been used since Greco- Roman times as an herbal remedy for a variety of ailments, particularly
liver problems. In the late 19th and early 20th centuries physicians in the United States used milk thistle seeds
to relieve congestion of the liver, spleen, and kidneys. Today, several scientific studies suggest that active
substances in milk thistle (particularly silymarin) protect the liver from damage caused by viruses, toxins,
alcohol, and certain drugs such as acetaminophen (a common over the counter medication used for headaches
and pain; acetaminophen, can cause liver damage if taken in large quantities or by people who drink alcohol
regularly.)

Conjugated Linoleic Acid 100mg

A naturally occurring free fatty acid . Used in small amounts it is a newly discovered good fat that may be a
potent cancer fighter. In studies, very small amounts of CLA have blocked all three stages of cancer: 1)
initiation, 2) promotion, and 3) metastasis. Most anti-cancer agents block only one of these stages. What's more,
CLA has slowed the growth of an unusually wide variety of tumors, including cancers of the skin, breast,
prostate, and colon. Also know to aid in weight loss and the conversion of fat to lean muscle mass and is used
extensively by body builders and weight loss professionals. So it is a naturally occurring nutrient with the
ability to help you pack on lean muscle, reduces body fat and at the same time possesses health promoting
properties.

Glutathione (GSH)
This article will demonstrate to you why Glutathione is so important to your health and well-being.

Glutathione (pronounced 'gloota-thigh-own') is the body's essential health ABC's - Antioxidant, Blood Booster
and Cell Detoxifier.

It is a tripeptide composed of glutamic, cysteine and glycine. Glutathione is found in all cells in the body,
including the bile, the epithelial lining fluid of the lungs, and - at much smaller concentrations - in the blood.

Glutathione is the smallest intracellular non-protein thiol (molecule containing an S_H or sulfhydryl group)
molecule in the cells. This characteristic emphasizes its potent antioxidant action and supports a multifaceted
thiol exchange system, which regulates cell activity.

This small protein, produced naturally in the body, maintains these three crucial protective functions.

In fact, your life depends on glutathione. Without it, your cells would disintegrate from unrestrained oxidation,
your body would have little resistance to metabolic acids, and your liver would shrivel up from the eventual
accumulation of acidic toxins.

Glutathione is not yet a household word. Even some medical and holistic doctors who have heard the term may
still have only a vague idea of what it is. However, everyone will soon be talking about this critical non-
nutritive substance.

There was a time when only scientists had heard of cholesterol and vitamins, but today, everyone knows about
them. Now the magnificence of glutathione is becoming known.

In the last five years, over 25,000 medical articles about this substance have been published, and the scientific
understanding of glutathione is gradually becoming common knowledge.

Each and every cell in the body is responsible for its own supply of glutathione and must have the necessary
raw materials in order to produce it.

Glutathione is always in great demand and is rapidly consumed when we experience any sort of emotional or
physical stress, fatigue and even moderate exercise.

Glutathion in the World
Some well-known causes of glutathione depletion are:

   1. Acidic lifestyle and diet
   2. Air and Water pollution
   3. Prescription and recreational drugs
   4. Ultraviolet and Radiation from cells phones, computers, electrical cars, power lines, hair dryers, etc.
   5. Emotional and physical stress
   6. Injury, trauma or burns
   7. Heavy metals
   8. Cigarette smoke
   9. Household chemicals
   10. Acetaminophen poisoning

   11. Exhaust from motor vehicles
   12. Septic shock

All of these above factors lead to a build up of acidic toxins that cause the loss of glutathione as a non-nutritive
buffer leading to cellular aging, disease and finally death.

Why is Glutathione Essential to Health?
Glutathione's three major roles in the body are summarized by the letters A-B-C.

         Anti-oxidant
   ·
         Blood Booster
   ·
         Cell Detoxifier
   ·

These are the three critical processes driven by glutathione.

The Master Antioxidant

Over the past thirty years, researchers have explored the role of antioxidants in good health as well as the
treatment and prevention of diseases involving oxidation or fermentation by metabolic acids.

Well known and widely used antioxidants such as vitamin A, vitamin E and selenium neutralize acid. They
occur naturally in nature, but not in the body. They must be introduced as part of a balanced diet.

Given the critical role of antioxidants in good health, it is not surprising that the body itself manufactures its
own natural antioxidants.

The most important of these is glutathione. Because all other antioxidants depend upon the presence of
glutathione to function properly, scientists call it 'the master antioxidant.'

Glutathione binds to toxins, forming a water-soluble complex - which is ultimately excreted in the urine or bile
as waste.

Food for the Blood

Elevated glutathione levels enable the body to produce more white blood cells. White blood cells are the body's
garbage collectors and are the most important cells for maintaining sterility of the body fluids.

Glutathione plays a central role in the proper function of the white blood cells. Dr. Bustavo Bounous, a leading
glutathione expert, says, 'The limiting factor in the proper activity of our lymphocytes (the white blood cells) is
the availability of glutathione.' In other words, healthy growth and activity of the white blood cells depends
upon glutathione's availability. Put simply, glutathione is 'food' for the white blood cells.

Cellular Detoxifier

Whether we know it or not, we are continually inhaling and ingesting natural and synthetic acidic toxins. They
are unavoidable in these modern times both in our polluted cities and our poorly engineered food supplies.
When the body has the health and the nourishment it needs, it works tirelessly to eliminate acidic toxins and to
protect itself. But, increasing levels of environmental pollution are depleting the body's store of glutathione
more and more rapidly.

Our main organ of detoxification of acidic waste products is the lymphatic system and the liver. This is the
body's most concentrated source of glutathione.
Important Notice: These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. These products are not intended for use in the treatment of any disease.
13
  Copyright TheMaxGXLStore.com © 2008

Studies show that low glutathione levels lead to poor lymphatic and liver function, causing more and more
acidic toxins to circulate through the body and resulting in damage to individual cells and organs.

Medical doctors today routinely use glutathione- promoting drugs to detoxify victims of certain types of drug
overdose.

Glutathione in Natural Medicine

Practitioners of complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) have long advocated the use of milk thistle for
liver problems. It turns out that this herb works by modestly elevating glutathione levels. The mineral selenium
also produces subtle elevations in glutathione by becoming integrated into the glutathione peroxidase.

Glutathione in Traditional Medicine

Emergency medical doctors, toxicologists and lung and liver specialists are well acquainted with glutathione's
therapeutic uses. American physicians seeking ways to raise a patient's glutathione levels can open the standard
Physician's Desk Reference (PDR) and find two options - the pharmaceutical drugs sold under the names
Parlodex and Mucomyst, and the natural dietary supplement found in natural foods stores derived from whey
protein isolate.

Drugs That Raise Glutathione Levels

Pharmaceutical drugs like Procysteine, OTC, OTX, Glutathione monoesters and Glutathione diesters have been
used to raise glutathione levels. However, they all produce side effects and are unsuitable for long term use.

This pharmaceutical non- nutritive chemical is used to break up mucus in lung diseases such as cystic fibrosis,
chronic bronchitis and asthma. It remains the standard treatment for acetaminophen overdose.

Glutathione in Health and Disease

It is believed that glutathione has an important role to play in the prevention and treatment of disease. It may in
the future be considered as important to health as an alkaline diet, exercise and alkaline lifestyle. Clinical tests
show that raised glutathione levels may address some of the eight major health issues of our time:

1. Cardiovascular

2. Cancer

Cancer causing polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) have been found to alter levels of glutathione compounds in
experiments, which may alter the body's resistance to certain types of cancer.

Glutathione deficiencies have been linked to many forms of cancer.
» Prevents cancerous tissue
» Suppresses tumor growth
» Eliminates carcinogen
» acids - Retards oxidative stress
» Prevents wasting disease
» Eases side effects of chemotherapy and radiotherapy

3. Pulmonary

Glutathione is the most efficient free radical (acid) scavenger in the airways, and dozens of studies have
confirmed that free radical (acid) damage is a primary player in Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease.

» Cystic fibrosis - Glutathione neutralized harmful oxidants introduced into the lungs or those released by cells.
Exotoxins from bacteria can overload the endobronchial terrain and feed the fires of acidic inflammation. This
staggering burden increases the oxidative sensitivity of the CF lung, resulting in further injury of lung
parenchyma. Data supports evidence of a decrease in the antioxidant tri-peptide glutathione. [Roum JH, Buhl R,

4. Aging

Glutathione is critically important to our brain as it is one of the most important brain antioxidants. Glutathione
helps preserve brain tissue by preventing damage from free radicals (acids).

In addition to quenching dangerous acids, glutathione also acts to recycle vitamin E which also has the ability to
reduce acidity in the brain. [Perlmutter D., BrainRecovery.com July 2004, 5th ed:13]

» Autism - Medical literature documents that an out-fection can lead to a lowering of glutathione which
participates in detoxification, interacts with metallothioneins, and supports many crucial aspects of immunity. A
link between glutathione and autism regression may derive from the fact that transient or chronic intestinal
problems can impair an infant's or toddler's nutritional status, thereby minimizing the levels of amino-acids
required for the production of glutathione (McCandless, J. Children With Starving Brains. 2003, 2nd ed; 252)

» Parkinson's Disease - Glutathione helps to preserve brain tissue by preventing damage from free radicals
(acids) and destructive chemicals formed by the normal processes of metabolism, toxic elements in the

environment, and as a normal response of the body to challenges by acidic agents or other stresses. With the
understanding that glutathione is important for brain protection and that this protection many be lacking in the
brains of Parkinson's clients due to glutathione deficiency, it can be seen as very beneficial. (Di Monte DA,

» Detoxifies pollutants including heavy metals and pesticides – Elevated glutathione levels have been
shown to protect tissue form lipid peroxidation created by exposure to certain metals. Consider infusions of
glutathione to relieve the body burden of both neurotoxins and metal toxicity, including mercury. (Foster, JS.

» Prevents hearing loss from noise pollution

» Detoxifies many well-known carcinogens

7. Immunology

» Anti- viral for AIDS, hepatitis, herpes, etc. - Low glutathione levels in HIV clients may contribute to their
immune deficiency since glutathione plays an important role in the function of lymphocytes. Some lymphocytes
require adequate levels of glutathione in order to function normally, and HIV induces oxidative stress that
depletes the cells of glutathione.

1997 Nov. » Lyme Dis-Ease - Lyme dis-ease is a seriously complex multi-system acidic inflammatory
condition that is triggered by bacterial exotoxins. Glutathione helps to remove exotoxic and/or mycotoxic acids
by forming a soluble compound with them, which can then be excreted through the urine or gut. (Can
Glutathione Help Lyme Disease Suffers? Excerpt from: The Glutathione Report: Optimal Health with the
Master Antioxidant, Issue 4, Volume 1, May 2004).

» Chronic fatigue syndrome - An article in the journal of Medical Hypothesis proposed that glutathione, an
antioxidant essential for lymphocyte function, may be depleted in Chronic Fatigue Syndrome patients.
Glutathione is needed for both the immune system and for aerobic muscular contraction. The authors proposed
that glutathione depletion by an activated immune system also causes the muscular fatigue and myalgia
associated with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (Bounous et al. 1999).

8. Metabolic

» Athletic enhancement

» Decreases recovery time from physical stress

» Supports hemoglobin in kidney failure

» Diabetes - The blood and tissues of diabetics are marked by critically low glutathione levels. Glutathione
depletion may have adverse consequences in diabetic clients independent of glycemic control, and it may
weaken the defense against oxidative stress.

Reduced Glutathione Infusion on Glucose Metabolism in Patients with Non- insulin Dependent Diabetes
Mellitus. Metabolism. 1998 Aug;47(8):433-8.

Glutathione provides the body with tools to fight off these threats naturally. Healthy people also benefit from
elevated glutathione levels through an enhanced ability to fight off acidic toxins, dis-ease, pre-cancerous cells

and the aging process itself. Diminished glutathione levels are a symptom of aging and are particularly evident
in such alimentsas Parkinson's dis-ease and Alzheimer's dis-ease.

Glutathione is also important to physically active people. Many world-class athletes are discovering that well-
maintained glutathione levels gives them the edge over their competitors, bringing greater strength and
endurance, decreased recovery time from injury, less muscle pain and fatigue, and muscle-promoting activity.

Putting It All Together

1. Medical science is still ascertaining all the critical roles played by glutathione in disease resistance and
general good health. Clinical evidence links low glutathione levels to the most common illnesses of our time as
well as newly emerging diseases.

2. As an essential aid to health, glutathione works as the master antioxidant in our body, optimizes the white
blood cells and detoxifies a long list of pollutants and carcinogens or acids. The best way to raise glutathione
levels is by eating foods that are high in glutathione such as avocados.

3. Pharmaceutical medicine has created drugs that do this very effectively. They have their uses in critical
situations. But they also have side effects and repeated use is clearly inadvisable.

injuries, mild to severe, and I find that from babies on up, if they have brain, emotional or developmental issues,
they are severely lacking in glutathione.” “I have been on MaxGXL® for four months,” Dr. Allen says. “My
energy level has doubled. I find that I have more sustained energy for 12 to 15 hours a day. My organization
and management of my work has become better. My stress levels have greatly dropped. My stamina and
endurance have increased. My motivated, strong production hours have increased substantially. I started taking
it before bed and am now getting to sleep faster and sleeping more soundly.”

Dr. John Kindle (Ontario, Canada)

Dr. John Kindle practices family medicine in Canada and has been a physician for 34 years. Although he’s
always been healthy, he says, he was diagnosed with cancer in 2003 and, as a result, had a kidney removed. He
then began to search for ways to maintain and improve his health and immune function, and discovered
MaxGXL®. “The science behind this product made absolute sense to me,” he says. “I started to use the product
myself and advised my patients about what I had found.” Dr. Kindle says he finds beneficial results when using
MaxGXL®. “In my personal life, I have experienced incredible energy and my recovery time playing squash
amazes me, as I play athletes 20 years younger I am,” he says. “I am sleeping more soundly, as well.”

Dr. Daria Davidson (Washington)

Dr. Daria Davidson has been in health care for more than 30 years, fi rst as an R.N., then as an emergency-
medicine physician for 20 years and for the last several years in a private holistic- medicine practice. “I’ve
worked clinically with nutritional supplements for the last 12 years, and it is rare that I am truly impressed,” she
says. “When I learned that MaxGXL® was formulated by Dr. Robert Keller, I knew that this was one important
supplement, probably the most signifi cant one I’ll see in my lifetime. I have been using MaxGXL® personally
and with patients since April 2007, and the results are delightful and varied.

Athletic Performance
Many world-class athletes are discovering that well- maintained glutathione levels give them the edge over their
competitors, bringing greater strength and endurance, decreased recovery time from injury, less muscle pain and
fatigue, and muscle-promoting activity.quot; Glutathione: Essential Health AID – Antioxidant, Immune Booster.
Detoxifier, Dr. Jimmy Gutman, MD, FACEP

Raised glutathione levels help increase strength and endurance. Those interested in physical fitness can benefit
from a definite athletic edge. [Journal of Applied Physiology 87: 1381-1385, 1999]
Strong muscular activity, such as that experienced by athletes, generates oxyradicals [free radicals] leading to
muscle fatigue and poorer performance. Glutathione neutralizes these radicals. [Sport Medicine 21: 213-238,
1996]

The antioxidant most people haven’t heard of happens to be the most powerful of them all. I’m talking about the
seldom discussed, glutathione, the absolute commander and chief of our antioxidant defense system. Why isn’t
it more famous? Good question. It may stem from the fact that glutathione cannot simply be boosted through
consumption, like its subordinates. The cell must make glutathione on its own. One of the main ingredients,
cysteine, is hard to come by, toxic, and quite unstable by itself. While it is abundant in dairy products, the
pasteurization process often destroys or denatures any meaningful amount present. Glutathione ultimately plays
a final role in rejuvenating injured antioxidant soldiers. While boosting glutathione is difficult at best, research
has indicated that when it is accomplished, you see significant increases in aerobic sports performance in
already trained individuals.

An antioxidant-rich diet is important for all individuals, whether they are healthy, diseased, active, or sedentary.
To the aerobic athlete, increasing antioxidant and glutathione status is particularly meaningful. While we have
yet to determine a practical way to optimize glutathione, we do know that an antioxidant-rich diets help
maintain intracellular glutathione concentrations. Doing so appears to have the potential to increase sports
performance and is at least conducive to a healthy, disease free lifestyle. This is a highly active area of research.
The last great, true, and legal development in ergogenic aids happened in 1965 with the formulation of a
tolerable carbohydrate replacement drink. The next one is likely to involve antioxidants, may happen sooner
than we think and be equally significant. Science of Sport: Demystifying Antioxidants for Active People

Ernest Chang (Hawaii)

As a police officer for 10 years, Ernest Chang maintains a fit and active body.
But fitness is also a personal interest: He competes in bodybuilding contests
regularly and trains extensively. He began taking MaxGXL® at his manager's
suggesting while training for National Physique Committee's Paradise Cup
Bodybuilding and Figure Championships in 2007. quot;Within three to four days, I felt
a difference, quot; he says. quot;I had a sustained energy level. I sleep better at night and
need less sleep than before I started taking Max. My trainer-recuperation ability
increased greatly. Not only did I recover faster for each workout, I also recovered
faster between sets. The best way I can describe it is like my lungs felt
supercharged. Other huge differences were my increased strength and my number of repetitions.quot;

Tom Jones (California)

A 44-year-old extreme endurance athlete, Tom Jones knows the power of a quick
recovery and routinely pushes his body past what many consider to be normal
physical limits. He completed 120 marathons in 120 days to raise money for charity,
and on the final day ran the New York Marathon in less than four hours. Tom is
also a two-time World Champion Thai kick boxer. quot;Shortly after I started taking
MaxGXL®,quot; he says, quot;I started experiencing overall increased energy, quicker
recovery time after training 5 to 7 hours a day and -- most importantly for me -- I
have experienced little to no swelling in my hips, knees, back, elbows and shoulders
after training sessions. I can now see myself being an extreme endurance athlete for
years to come, thanks to MaxGXL®.quot;

Roadrunner Baseball Team (Utah)

The St. George Roadrunners, a minor league baseball team in St. George, Utah,
have used MaxGXL® since the team's inception in early 2007. Sponsored by Max
International associates Jay McGregor and Stephen Wade, the team as a whole has
noticed a difference in their performance and recovery times since starting
                         MaxGXL®.
Team member Ryan Stephenson notes the difference in his life: quot;We play games
almost every day, and my recovery time is awesome, quot; he says. quot;I wake up feeling
                         refreshed and ready to go.quot;
Steven Wright, a fellow teammate, shares a similar view. quot;Once I started using
MaxGXL®, I noticed a change in my body's recovery, which enhances my performance.quot;

Corey Synder (Utah)

Cory Snyder, the Roadrunners' manager, could detect the difference MaxGXL®
made in his life. After pitching and hitting balls all day during tryouts, he expected
to be sore the next day. But he wasn't. That's when he decided to share MaxGXL®
with his team, which benefits from MaxGXL®. quot; The pitchers recover quicker from
their outings, quot; he says. quot; And I can throw batting practice every day and feel no
discomfort or stress on my arm.quot;

Kevin Saunders (Texas)

Kevin Saunders has achieved athletic distinction, earning titles such as World's
Greatest Wheelchair Athlete, by serving as a member of the President's Council on
Physical Fitness and Sports and as International Ambassador on Health and Fitness.
But he says MaxGXL® helped him fine-tune his athletic performance. quot;MaxGXL®
is an amazing tool for any athlete looking to go to the next level, quot; he says. quot;As a
world-champion athlete, I thought I'd tried everything, but I've been blown away.
Instead of having down days and feeling tired, I've found that MaxGXL® gives me

Herb Gee (Vancouver, British Columbia)

A 66-year-old track and field competitor, Herb Gee is an experienced athlete.
Adding MaxGXL® to his regimen has helped him achieve more than he imagined
possible. quot;In October 2007, I was scheduled to participate in five events at the
Huntsman World Senior Games, in St. George, Utah, quot; he says. quot;Foolishly, I over
trained in the last two weeks before my first event and questioned whether I should
even go. I just didn't have the explosive power anymore, but since the Games entry
fees and airline tickets were paid and the hotel booked, I decided to go and just do
my best.quot; After winning several races throughout the day, he was fatigued when the
time came for his last event, the 100- meter run -- his specialty. quot;I knew I had to let
it all hang out,” he says. quot; This was my final event and my last chance to win gold.
The gun went off, I rocketed out of the starting blocks and led from start to finish, winning, I am told by
spectators, by about a meter, a race typically won by inches. There is no doubt in my mind that MaxGXL® was
my partner in gold.quot;

Ian Walling (Toronto, Ontario)

Ian Walling is a professional athlete with many titles under his belt: WNSO World
Pro Champion, Mr. National Universe 1998, National Olympia gold medal winner
and others. He's also a personal trainer to future national bodybuilding competitors.
quot;Since I have been using MaxGXL®, I just feel better, quot; he says. quot;My energy is great.
I noticed that my muscle recovery has increased after my workouts. I take

Testimonials
Me and MaxGXL®

Shawn King, wife of Larry King

Everything I'd love to say about MaxGXL®, they tell me I can't say because we're not supposed to talk about
the unbelievable things we've seen. Keeping up with Larry's schedule in itself can be exhausting. Add to that
my responsibilities as a full-time mom to our two boys, working on my own show and singing career, and there
aren't enough hours in the day to get everything done, stress- free.

Until I started using Max, my energy level would fall off sharply just after lunch. I'd find myself dying for a
nap, but never having even a moment to take one. By the time Larry would get home from his show, I was
usually worn to a frazzle. But our days never stop with dinner. Whether it's a movie screening or a charity
event, our evenings are filled with activities, as well.

Max has changed everything. From the time I wake up (early enough to get the kids to school) until the time
my head hits the pillow, I've got all the energy I need and it's not like the buzz you get from caffeine drinks.
You just feel good all day. I feel just as energetic a 2 in the afternoon as I feel at 7:30 in the morning. If I have a
late night planned, I just take another packet of capsules around 5 p.m., and I'm good for the rest of the night.
I've also noticed that my mental focus is incredibly strong throughout the day. So when my kids want to have
some quality time. I'm there for them 100 percent. I've also been amazed that I'm not as sore from exercise, and
I recover from my workouts a lot faster.

FAQ
What is MaxGXL™?

MaxGXL™ is a complex nutritional supplement that uses an ideal combination of nutrients to facilitate
Glutathione replenishment.

What exactly is Glutathione and why is it important?

Glutathione is a tri-peptide of the amino acids cysteine, glycine, and glutamic acid and is the master antioxidant
of the body. Without glutathione, we die. The replenishment of the glutathione levels within the lymphocytes
(also called white blood cells) increases the efficiency of the immune response. The increase in glutathione
levels also results in the proliferation of lymphocytes that act as scavengers, and help to combat infections. It is
truly the body's master antioxidant and its importance is critical to health and longevity.

How is MaxGXL™ different from other glutathione enhancing supplements? What makes MaxGXL
more effective?

Our product, MaxGXL, is possibly the most sensible method of raising glutathione levels inside lymphocytes,
or activated cells.

   1. MaxGXL has a composition patent (composition patents are normally reserved for the most unique, and
novel, ideas - usually pharmaceuticals) for a method of raising glutathione levels in humans.
   2. MaxGXL is relatively inexpensive.
   3. MaxGXL is taken in capsule form for your convenience.
   4. We have had great success with MaxGXL and its ability to raise depleted glutathione levels. Not only
will MaxGXL make your cells produce glutathione, it will also recycle existing stores of glutathione and
maintain it in its most effective form.

What if I don’t have enough glutathione – what happens?

Decreased glutathione may be a result of various types of prolonged stress and hyperactivity of the immune
system, which in turn compromises the health of the body’s cells.

Why isn’t oral glutathione well absorbed?

Glutathione is broken down by acid in the stomach long before it ever reached the cells. Then at this point the
molecule would still have to penetrate the cell wall which it cannot do. This is why you must feed your cells the
precursors needed for them to naturally produce glutathione inside the cells.

Are there any side effects associated with MaxGXL?

No. There are no known negative side effects associated with MaxGXL.

What are the ingredients of MaxGXL™ and what do they do?

Calcium Ascorbate- A mineral salt of Vitamin C. Calcium Ascorbate is 80% Vitamin C and 20% calcium.
Ascorbates are less acidic than other types of vitamin C and provide better absorption than ascorbic acid alone.
It protects the body from toxins and acts as an immune builder and as an antioxidant. It is essential for growth
and repair of tissues. It helps your body to cope with physical and mental stress. Calcium Ascorbate produces
the frequency necessary to activate protease so is a key component to proper protein digestion as well. Also

maximizes NAC absorption and helps protect existing glutathione stores.

L-Glutamine- The most abundant of all of the amino acids found in the muscles of the body. It has the ability to
penetrate the so-called blood-brain barrier and is readily transformed into Glutamic Acid, which is essential for
cerebral function. In other words, this amino acid is used as brain fuel. L-glutamine is an essential dietary
component which nourishes cells in the gastro- intestinal lining, liver and immune system. It also preserves liver
glutathione after hepatic injury.

Milk Thistle- Contains some of the most potent liver protecting substances known. One of the active
phytochemicals called Sylimarin prevents free radical damage in the liver and kidneys. It also stimulates new
liver cells and is an excellent immune system builder.

N acetyl Cysteine (NAC) - N-acetyl cysteine (NAC) is the best dietary source of glutathione. It is a main
precursor for the manufacture of glutathione (GSH).

N-acetyl d-glucosamine - N-acetyl-d-glucosamine (NAG) is a key precursor in the biosynthesis of mucosal
glycoproteins. It protects the underlying tissues from enzymes, acids and bacteria while providing a surface to
absorb nutrients.

Alpha Lipoic Acid (ALA) - Alpha lipoic acid increases the body's ability to use cysteine to manufacture
glutathione. It also enables the key enzyme required for glutathione synthesis to work at optimal conditions, and
induces an increase in intracellular GSH. Quercitin - Quercitin plays a critical role in regenerating glutathione
and helps to eliminate toxic compounds found in the liver.

Cordyceps - Cordyceps functions as an antioxidant and anti- inflammatory agent. It has also been shown to
increase liver energy and glutathione synthesis. In MaxGXL, however, its primary function is to reduce
inflammation and free radicals by decreasing the thermostat for inflammation called nuclear factor kappa beta.

  • 5. 5 Copyright TheMaxGXLStore.com © 2008 Glutathione: The Body's Master Antioxidant glutathione (GSH) is a small protein produced naturally in our cells when certain required elements are present. It functions both as an antioxidant and an antitoxin and is a major defense system against illness and aging. Our glutathione level actually indicates our state of health and can predict longevity. Although there are more than 60,000 published papers on the beneficial effects of glutathione replacement, it is still largely ignored by mainstream medicine. . In the near future the importance of glutathione will be widely recognized because it has the ability to boost the immune system and fight off the damage of free radicals on the cells. Glutathione has been shown to slow down the aging process, detoxify and improve liver function, strengthen the immune system, and reduce the chances of developing cancer. Glutathione also works to help improve mental functions, increase energy, improve concentration, permit increased exercise, and improve heart and lung function - just to name a few. Increasing Age and Other Factors Reduce the Body’s Production and Utilization of GSH. Research has shown that individuals who have low levels of glutathione are susceptible to chronic illness. Research shows that GSH levels decline by 8% to 12% per decade, beginning at the age of 20. Levels of glutathione are further reduced by continual stress upon the immune system such as illness, infection, and environmental toxins. As we now know, a lowered immune system can bring about illness and disease. This is a ferocious cycle. While you need glutathione for a productive immune system, a weakened immune system hampers the production of glutathione. Supplements Containing Glutathione Alone Will NOT Increase the Body’s GSH Levels. It is pointless to purchase supplements that merely contain glutathione, because the digestive system breaks down ingested glutathione and it will not be absorbed into your system. On the other hand, MaxGXL™ provides the proper nutrients needed to promote the body's own ability to manufacture and absorb glutathione. MaxGXL™ also aids in liver support by destroying environmental poisons helping the liver to function as the main production site and storehouse for glutathione. • 6. 6 Copyright TheMaxGXLStore.com © 2008 The Max Story The Breakthrough In 1994, Dr. Robert H. Keller founded The BIODORON Institute of Advanced Medicine, a state-of-the-art medical clinic specializing in cutting-edge treatment for immune system disorders and anti-aging. After reviewing subject lab results for years, Dr. Keller noticed a trend. He kept seeing significantly low levels of uric acid in subjects with immune disorders. He decided to explore this finding, and his initial research concluded that uric acid is the last antioxidant at the body's disposal when all the normal antioxidants have been exhausted. As Dr. Keller has always been a strong advocate of nutrition, he went back in the literature, seeking the answer to one question: If uric acid is the body's last defense, then what is the first? His investigation led him to a substance called glutathione. Glutathione (GSH): The Master Antioxidant Dr. Keller discovered that the most prevalent, powerful and multifunctional antioxidant in the human body – employed by every organ – is glutathione. Glutathione (GSH) is a small protein produced naturally in our cells if the requisite precursors are present. It functions both as an antioxidant and an antitoxin and is a major defense system against illness and aging. Our glutathione level actually indicates our state of health and can predict longevity. It has been suggested that in the future, GSH levels will be closely monitored. There are over 70,000 medical articles currently published on GSH, yet most health professionals have only a vague idea of its significance. In the near future, the importance of glutathione will be widely recognized. The Test After learning of the importance of GSH, Dr. Keller needed to test the hypothesis that the levels of GSH in subjects with immune disorders were, in fact, severely diminished. To get a current and accurate gauge of a subject's GSH level, Dr. Keller knew the test must measure GSH inside of lymphocytes (white blood cells); however, no such lab test existed. Using a state-of-the-art medical laboratory, Dr. Keller and his team of scientists developed a proprietary lab test to measure levels of GSH inside the lymphocytes. The tests confirmed the hypothesis. People who are stressed, aging, lacking sleep, or with any prolonged illness utilize glutathione at an accelerated rate resulting in decreased bodily stores, weakened defenses, and increased risk of illnesses including accelerated aging. • 7. 7 Copyright TheMaxGXLStore.com © 2008 The Challenge It was clear that the GSH levels needed to be replenished in these subjects. But how? Glutathione is produced naturally from three amino acids: glycine, glutamine, and cysteine. These essential precursors of GSH must be able to make it from the mouth to the gut, then through the cells walls and subsequently the mitochondrial membrane. Therein lays the challenge. Unfortunately, raising our body's glutathione levels is extremely difficult for two reasons. Eating enough glutathione-rich foods only works in an idealized world where stress, deadlines and fast food are not factors. Orally supplementing glutathione is a good idea, but just not practical. The fragile tripeptide structure of glutathione makes surviving the digestive tract a near impossibility. The Solution: MaxGXL After years of research and development, Dr. Keller created MaxGXL, a product containing the necessary components of glutathione that when absorbed into the body; stimulate the body’s own production of glutathione in every cell of the body. • 8. 8 Copyright TheMaxGXLStore.com © 2008 Supplement Facts The Glutathione Accelerator Below is a synopsis of each of these ingredients individually to give more of an idea of the synergy of this product. MAXGXL uses the highest grade (GST grade), of each ingredient in a synthesized and patented formula that together works wonders on the human body by promoting and enhancing the body's production & use of its most important antioxidant, Glutathione. Vitamin C (as Calcium Ascorbate) 250mg Calcium Ascorbate is an optimal nutritional supplement that combines Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C) with Calcium Carbonate. By combining these two dietary ingredients, it is a buffered source of Vitamin C that will not contribute to gastric irritation in sensitive persons. I-Glutamine 750 mg This is the most abundant of the amino acids in the human body. Its main storage site is in the musculature; where about 60% of all the unbound amino acids are glutamine (glutamine makes up a smaller percentage of muscle protein, the main bound form). Glutamine has been called a quot;conditionally essentialquot; nutrient, because it is non-essential in normal situations (manufactured by the body in adequate quantities; not required in the diet), but in illness or injury becomes insufficient (there is then a need for supplementation from the diet or other sources). N Acetyl Cysetine (NAC) 375 mg N-Acetylcysteine is derived from the sulfur-containing amino acid, cysteine. It is produced naturally in the body and is also obtained from the diet. Along with glutamic acid and glycine NAC is a precursor to glutathione, which is the body's most important cellular antioxidant. Proponents of NAC find that NAC is an immune enhancer; prevents and treats cancer; detoxifies heavy metals; treats smoker's cough and bronchitis; prevents heart disease; slows progression of HIV; relieves hangover symptoms; reduces exercise fatigue. It is used as a supplement for bronchitis, HIV infection, cystic fibrosis, cancer chemotherapy support, acetaminophen poisoning, heavy metal poisoning, and septic shock. • 9. 9 Copyright TheMaxGXLStore.com © 2008 Alpha Lipoic Acid 75mg Quite Possibly the quot;Universalquot; Antioxidant. The body needs ALA to produce energy. It plays a crucial role in the mitochondria, the energy-producing structures in cells. The body actually makes enough ALA for these basic metabolic functions. This compound acts as an antioxidant, however, only when there is an excess of it and it is in the quot;freequot; state in the cells. But there is little free ALA circulating in your body, unless you consume supplements or get it injected. Foods contain only tiny amounts of it. What makes ALA special as an antioxidant is its versatility—it helps deactivate an unusually wide array of cell-damaging free radicals in many bodily systems. In particular, ALA helps protect the mitochondria and the genetic material, DNA. As we age, mitochondrial function is impaired, and it's theorized that this may be an important contributor to some of the adverse effects of aging. ALA also works closely with vitamin C and E and some other antioxidants, quot;recyclingquot; them and thus making them much more effective. Cordyceps 300mg Cordyceps sinensis, known in China as Dong Chong Xia Cao (quot;Summer Grass, Winter Wormquot;) and in the West as Cordyceps or The Caterpillar Fungus, has long been used in Traditional Chinese Medicine for the promotion of cardiovascular, sexual and immune system health and as a general energizing tonic, as it oxygenates the blood. Traditional Chinese Medicine have used it to treat fatigue and other ailments for 1,500 years. N Acetyl D-Glucosamine 125 mg Used to strengthen immune function & is one of the building blocks of joint tissue and other connective tissues. In certain studies have been known to restrain and treat cancer. As to all kinds of inflammations, it is able to aid in therapy effectively. And also bone arthritis and joint pains have been reduced with using it alone or together with MSM. Quercetin 37.5mg This is an anti-oxidant that belongs to a group of plant pigments called flavonoids that are largely responsible for the colors of many fruits, flowers, and vegetables. Flavonoids, such as quercetin, provide many health- promoting benefits. They act as antihistamines (which are useful in reducing allergy symptoms) and help reduce inflammation associated with various forms of arthritis. Quercetin also works as an antioxidant by scavenging damaging particles in the body known as free radicals. These particles occur naturally in the body but can damage cell membranes, interact with genetic material, and possibly contribute to the aging process as well as the development of a number of conditions including heart disease and cancer. Antioxidants such as quercetin can neutralize free radicals and may reduce or even help prevent some of the damage they cause. Milk Thistle Extract (Silybum Marianum) 25mg Milk Thistle has been used since Greco- Roman times as an herbal remedy for a variety of ailments, particularly liver problems. In the late 19th and early 20th centuries physicians in the United States used milk thistle seeds to relieve congestion of the liver, spleen, and kidneys. Today, several scientific studies suggest that active substances in milk thistle (particularly silymarin) protect the liver from damage caused by viruses, toxins, alcohol, and certain drugs such as acetaminophen (a common over the counter medication used for headaches and pain; acetaminophen, can cause liver damage if taken in large quantities or by people who drink alcohol regularly.) • 11. 11 Copyright TheMaxGXLStore.com © 2008 Glutathione (GSH) This article will demonstrate to you why Glutathione is so important to your health and well-being. Glutathione (pronounced 'gloota-thigh-own') is the body's essential health ABC's - Antioxidant, Blood Booster and Cell Detoxifier. It is a tripeptide composed of glutamic, cysteine and glycine. Glutathione is found in all cells in the body, including the bile, the epithelial lining fluid of the lungs, and - at much smaller concentrations - in the blood. Glutathione is the smallest intracellular non-protein thiol (molecule containing an S_H or sulfhydryl group) molecule in the cells. This characteristic emphasizes its potent antioxidant action and supports a multifaceted thiol exchange system, which regulates cell activity. This small protein, produced naturally in the body, maintains these three crucial protective functions. In fact, your life depends on glutathione. Without it, your cells would disintegrate from unrestrained oxidation, your body would have little resistance to metabolic acids, and your liver would shrivel up from the eventual accumulation of acidic toxins. Glutathione is not yet a household word. Even some medical and holistic doctors who have heard the term may still have only a vague idea of what it is. However, everyone will soon be talking about this critical non- nutritive substance. There was a time when only scientists had heard of cholesterol and vitamins, but today, everyone knows about them. Now the magnificence of glutathione is becoming known. In the last five years, over 25,000 medical articles about this substance have been published, and the scientific understanding of glutathione is gradually becoming common knowledge. Each and every cell in the body is responsible for its own supply of glutathione and must have the necessary raw materials in order to produce it. Glutathione is always in great demand and is rapidly consumed when we experience any sort of emotional or physical stress, fatigue and even moderate exercise. Glutathion in the World Some well-known causes of glutathione depletion are: 1. Acidic lifestyle and diet 2. Air and Water pollution 3. Prescription and recreational drugs 4. Ultraviolet and Radiation from cells phones, computers, electrical cars, power lines, hair dryers, etc. 5. Emotional and physical stress 6. Injury, trauma or burns 7. Heavy metals 8. • 12. 12 Copyright TheMaxGXLStore.com © 2008 11. Exhaust from motor vehicles 12. Septic shock All of these above factors lead to a build up of acidic toxins that cause the loss of glutathione as a non-nutritive buffer leading to cellular aging, disease and finally death. Why is Glutathione Essential to Health? Glutathione's three major roles in the body are summarized by the letters A-B-C. Anti-oxidant · Blood Booster · Cell Detoxifier · These are the three critical processes driven by glutathione. The Master Antioxidant Over the past thirty years, researchers have explored the role of antioxidants in good health as well as the treatment and prevention of diseases involving oxidation or fermentation by metabolic acids. Well known and widely used antioxidants such as vitamin A, vitamin E and selenium neutralize acid. They occur naturally in nature, but not in the body. They must be introduced as part of a balanced diet. Given the critical role of antioxidants in good health, it is not surprising that the body itself manufactures its own natural antioxidants. The most important of these is glutathione. Because all other antioxidants depend upon the presence of glutathione to function properly, scientists call it 'the master antioxidant.' Glutathione binds to toxins, forming a water-soluble complex - which is ultimately excreted in the urine or bile as waste. Food for the Blood Elevated glutathione levels enable the body to produce more white blood cells. White blood cells are the body's garbage collectors and are the most important cells for maintaining sterility of the body fluids. Glutathione plays a central role in the proper function of the white blood cells. Dr. Bustavo Bounous, a leading glutathione expert, says, 'The limiting factor in the proper activity of our lymphocytes (the white blood cells) is the availability of glutathione.' In other words, healthy growth and activity of the white blood cells depends upon glutathione's availability. Put simply, glutathione is 'food' for the white blood cells. Cellular Detoxifier Whether we know it or not, we are continually inhaling and ingesting natural and synthetic acidic toxins. They are unavoidable in these modern times both in our polluted cities and our poorly engineered food supplies. When the body has the health and the nourishment it needs, it works tirelessly to eliminate acidic toxins and to protect itself. But, increasing levels of environmental pollution are depleting the body's store of glutathione more and more rapidly. Our main organ of detoxification of acidic waste products is the lymphatic system and the liver. This is the body's most concentrated source of glutathione. • 13. 13 Copyright TheMaxGXLStore.com © 2008 Studies show that low glutathione levels lead to poor lymphatic and liver function, causing more and more acidic toxins to circulate through the body and resulting in damage to individual cells and organs. Medical doctors today routinely use glutathione- promoting drugs to detoxify victims of certain types of drug overdose. Glutathione in Natural Medicine Practitioners of complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) have long advocated the use of milk thistle for liver problems. It turns out that this herb works by modestly elevating glutathione levels. The mineral selenium also produces subtle elevations in glutathione by becoming integrated into the glutathione peroxidase. Glutathione in Traditional Medicine Emergency medical doctors, toxicologists and lung and liver specialists are well acquainted with glutathione's therapeutic uses. American physicians seeking ways to raise a patient's glutathione levels can open the standard Physician's Desk Reference (PDR) and find two options - the pharmaceutical drugs sold under the names Parlodex and Mucomyst, and the natural dietary supplement found in natural foods stores derived from whey protein isolate. Drugs That Raise Glutathione Levels Pharmaceutical drugs like Procysteine, OTC, OTX, Glutathione monoesters and Glutathione diesters have been used to raise glutathione levels. However, they all produce side effects and are unsuitable for long term use. This pharmaceutical non- nutritive chemical is used to break up mucus in lung diseases such as cystic fibrosis, chronic bronchitis and asthma. It remains the standard treatment for acetaminophen overdose. Glutathione in Health and Disease It is believed that glutathione has an important role to play in the prevention and treatment of disease. It may in the future be considered as important to health as an alkaline diet, exercise and alkaline lifestyle. Clinical tests show that raised glutathione levels may address some of the eight major health issues of our time: 1. Diminished glutathione levels are a symptom of aging and are particularly evident in such alimentsas Parkinson's dis-ease and Alzheimer's dis-ease. Glutathione is also important to physically active people. Many world-class athletes are discovering that well- maintained glutathione levels gives them the edge over their competitors, bringing greater strength and endurance, decreased recovery time from injury, less muscle pain and fatigue, and muscle-promoting activity. Putting It All Together 1. Medical science is still ascertaining all the critical roles played by glutathione in disease resistance and general good health. Clinical evidence links low glutathione levels to the most common illnesses of our time as well as newly emerging diseases. 2. As an essential aid to health, glutathione works as the master antioxidant in our body, optimizes the white blood cells and detoxifies a long list of pollutants and carcinogens or acids. The best way to raise glutathione levels is by eating foods that are high in glutathione such as avocados. 3. Pharmaceutical medicine has created drugs that do this very effectively. They have their uses in critical situations. But they also have side effects and repeated use is clearly inadvisable. I find that I have more sustained energy for 12 to 15 hours a day. My organization and management of my work has become better. My stress levels have greatly dropped. I started taking it before bed and am now getting to sleep faster and sleeping more soundly.” Dr. John Kindle (Ontario, Canada) Dr. John Kindle practices family medicine in Canada and has been a physician for 34 years. Although he’s always been healthy, he says, he was diagnosed with cancer in 2003 and, as a result, had a kidney removed. • 22. 22 Copyright TheMaxGXLStore.com © 2008 Athletic Performance Many world-class athletes are discovering that well- maintained glutathione levels give them the edge over their competitors, bringing greater strength and endurance, decreased recovery time from injury, less muscle pain and fatigue, and muscle-promoting activity.quot; Glutathione: Essential Health AID – Antioxidant, Immune Booster. Detoxifier, Dr. Jimmy Gutman, MD, FACEP Raised glutathione levels help increase strength and endurance. Those interested in physical fitness can benefit from a definite athletic edge. [Journal of Applied Physiology 87: 1381-1385, 1999] Strong muscular activity, such as that experienced by athletes, generates oxyradicals [free radicals] leading to muscle fatigue and poorer performance. Glutathione neutralizes these radicals. [Sport Medicine 21: 213-238, 1996] The antioxidant most people haven’t heard of happens to be the most powerful of them all. I’m talking about the seldom discussed, glutathione, the absolute commander and chief of our antioxidant defense system. Why isn’t it more famous? Good question. It may stem from the fact that glutathione cannot simply be boosted through consumption, like its subordinates. The cell must make glutathione on its own. One of the main ingredients, cysteine, is hard to come by, toxic, and quite unstable by itself. While it is abundant in dairy products, the pasteurization process often destroys or denatures any meaningful amount present. Glutathione ultimately plays a final role in rejuvenating injured antioxidant soldiers. While boosting glutathione is difficult at best, research has indicated that when it is accomplished, you see significant increases in aerobic sports performance in already trained individuals. An antioxidant-rich diet is important for all individuals, whether they are healthy, diseased, active, or sedentary. To the aerobic athlete, increasing antioxidant and glutathione status is particularly meaningful. While we have yet to determine a practical way to optimize glutathione, we do know that an antioxidant-rich diets help maintain intracellular glutathione concentrations. Doing so appears to have the potential to increase sports performance and is at least conducive to a healthy, disease free lifestyle. This is a highly active area of research. The last great, true, and legal development in ergogenic aids happened in 1965 with the formulation of a tolerable carbohydrate replacement drink. The next one is likely to involve antioxidants, may happen sooner than we think and be equally significant. But fitness is also a personal interest: He competes in bodybuilding contests regularly and trains extensively. He began taking MaxGXL® at his manager's suggesting while training for National Physique Committee's Paradise Cup Bodybuilding and Figure Championships in 2007. quot;Within three to four days, I felt a difference, quot; he says. quot;I had a sustained energy level. I sleep better at night and need less sleep than before I started taking Max. My trainer-recuperation ability increased greatly. Not only did I recover faster for each workout, I also recovered faster between sets. The best way I can describe it is like my lungs felt supercharged. Other huge differences were my increased strength and my number of repetitions.quot; Important Notice: These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. • 25. 25 Copyright TheMaxGXLStore.com © 2008 Testimonials Me and MaxGXL® Shawn King, wife of Larry King Everything I'd love to say about MaxGXL®, they tell me I can't say because we're not supposed to talk about the unbelievable things we've seen. Keeping up with Larry's schedule in itself can be exhausting. Add to that my responsibilities as a full-time mom to our two boys, working on my own show and singing career, and there aren't enough hours in the day to get everything done, stress- free. Until I started using Max, my energy level would fall off sharply just after lunch. I'd find myself dying for a nap, but never having even a moment to take one. By the time Larry would get home from his show, I was usually worn to a frazzle. But our days never stop with dinner. Whether it's a movie screening or a charity event, our evenings are filled with activities, as well. Max has changed everything. From the time I wake up (early enough to get the kids to school) until the time my head hits the pillow, I've got all the energy I need and it's not like the buzz you get from caffeine drinks. You just feel good all day. I feel just as energetic a 2 in the afternoon as I feel at 7:30 in the morning. If I have a late night planned, I just take another packet of capsules around 5 p.m., and I'm good for the rest of the night. I've also noticed that my mental focus is incredibly strong throughout the day. So when my kids want to have some quality time. I'm there for them 100 percent. I've also been amazed that I'm not as sore from exercise, and I recover from my workouts a lot faster. If we go on a trip and I forget my MaxGXL®, two days later I'm back to feeling exhausted from 2 p.m. on. So now we never leave home without a box of MaxGXL®. It's at the top of my quot;trip checklist.quot; I can go without a lot of things in life, but MaxGXL® isn't one of them. • 26. 26 Copyright TheMaxGXLStore.com © 2008 FAQ What is MaxGXL™? MaxGXL™ is a complex nutritional supplement that uses an ideal combination of nutrients to facilitate Glutathione replenishment. What exactly is Glutathione and why is it important? Glutathione is a tri-peptide of the amino acids cysteine, glycine, and glutamic acid and is the master antioxidant of the body. Without glutathione, we die. The replenishment of the glutathione levels within the lymphocytes (also called white blood cells) increases the efficiency of the immune response. The increase in glutathione levels also results in the proliferation of lymphocytes that act as scavengers, and help to combat infections. It is truly the body's master antioxidant and its importance is critical to health and longevity. How is MaxGXL™ different from other glutathione enhancing supplements? What makes MaxGXL more effective? Our product, MaxGXL, is possibly the most sensible method of raising glutathione levels inside lymphocytes, or activated cells. 1. MaxGXL has a composition patent (composition patents are normally reserved for the most unique, and novel, ideas - usually pharmaceuticals) for a method of raising glutathione levels in humans. 2. MaxGXL is relatively inexpensive. 3. MaxGXL is taken in capsule form for your convenience. 4. We have had great success with MaxGXL and its ability to raise depleted glutathione levels. Not only will MaxGXL make your cells produce glutathione, it will also recycle existing stores of glutathione and maintain it in its most effective form. What if I don’t have enough glutathione – what happens? Decreased glutathione may be a result of various types of prolonged stress and hyperactivity of the immune system, which in turn compromises the health of the body’s cells. Why isn’t oral glutathione well absorbed? Glutathione is broken down by acid in the stomach long before it ever reached the cells. Then at this point the molecule would still have to penetrate the cell wall which it cannot do. This is why you must feed your cells the precursors needed for them to naturally produce glutathione inside the cells. It is essential for growth and repair of tissues. It helps your body to cope with physical and mental stress. Calcium Ascorbate produces the frequency necessary to activate protease so is a key component to proper protein digestion as well. • 27. 27 Copyright TheMaxGXLStore.com © 2008 maximizes NAC absorption and helps protect existing glutathione stores. L-Glutamine- The most abundant of all of the amino acids found in the muscles of the body. It has the ability to penetrate the so-called blood-brain barrier and is readily transformed into Glutamic Acid, which is essential for cerebral function. In other words, this amino acid is used as brain fuel. L-glutamine is an essential dietary component which nourishes cells in the gastro- intestinal lining, liver and immune system. It also preserves liver glutathione after hepatic injury. Milk Thistle- Contains some of the most potent liver protecting substances known. One of the active phytochemicals called Sylimarin prevents free radical damage in the liver and kidneys. It also stimulates new liver cells and is an excellent immune system builder. N acetyl Cysteine (NAC) - N-acetyl cysteine (NAC) is the best dietary source of glutathione. It is a main precursor for the manufacture of glutathione (GSH). N-acetyl d-glucosamine - N-acetyl-d-glucosamine (NAG) is a key precursor in the biosynthesis of mucosal glycoproteins. It protects the underlying tissues from enzymes, acids and bacteria while providing a surface to absorb nutrients. Alpha Lipoic Acid (ALA) - Alpha lipoic acid increases the body's ability to use cysteine to manufacture glutathione. It also enables the key enzyme required for glutathione synthesis to work at optimal conditions, and induces an increase in intracellular GSH. Quercitin - Quercitin plays a critical role in regenerating glutathione and helps to eliminate toxic compounds found in the liver. Cordyceps - Cordyceps functions as an antioxidant and anti- inflammatory agent. It has also been shown to increase liver energy and glutathione synthesis. In MaxGXL, however, its primary function is to reduce inflammation and free radicals by decreasing the thermostat for inflammation called nuclear factor kappa beta. How can I purchase MaxGXL?
