2. What do they mean? Greenhouse affect- when greenhouse gases (carbon dioxide, etc.)trap heat and energy from the sun in the troposphere Climate change- when overall state of a region, like the amount of annual precipitation, temperature range, etc, changes dramatically Global Warming- When the average temperature of the whole Earth rises
3. How are the three terms related? The greenhouse gases that keep heat and energy in the atmosphere lead to … Global warming- or the rising of the global temperature. This leads to…. Climate changes in areas around the globe!
4. Main Causes of Global Warming The emitted gases like carbon dioxide makes an ozone in the troposphere that blocks energy and heat from escaping the atmosphere. The carbon dioxide emitted form decomposing animals and plants
5. Consequences of Global Warming Glaciers are melting, causing sea levels to rise and constricting the homes of polar bears and penguins Climate can change in unexpected ways; tropical storms, droughts, and cloud cover. Temperature is rising faster than animals and plants can adapt. Without the normal cold spells, fungi and diseases can spread more easily and effect the crops
6. Global Warming’s impact on Economy As the concept of Global warming spreads around the world, government officials are making laws about company emissions. Many times, it is slightly more expensive to make a company more, “green”. Also, many states have a law that every car must pass an emission’s test, or the owner must pay a fee. This fee can vary from 50-200 dollars. Cars, plastic bottles, and other packaging materials are becoming more “green”, and thus the price of these everyday objects increases and effects the economy.
8. What the Skeptics Say Our on-land calculations of the atmosphere supply feeble evidence the planet has gone trough periods of warming and cooling before, and we’re still here! what can a couple degrees do to this humongous earth!
9.
10. This issue started appearing when humans started emitting a lot of greenhouse gases- For decades researchers have been working on this controversial subject, and their opinions are based on facts, while the skeptics have petty reasons that really have no solid foundation
