This document summarizes diversity data from two middle schools, Adams and Madison. Adams has over twice as many students as Madison. The schools have similar resources but differ in ethnicity, with Adams having a more diverse population that is 86% white, 9.3% Hispanic, and 2.3% black. Madison has a less diverse population that is 80% white and 16% Hispanic. Adams also has a lower percentage of students receiving free or reduced meals. The neighborhoods around the schools differ, with Adams near a recreation center and Madison near tennis courts and a run-down store.
