2. Preface & Acknowledgments As future landscape architects, it will be our responsibility to be stewards of the land. This spring semester, we have worked to design a historically significant, smart-growth oriented school expansion that reflects the culture of the Woodburn community within Morgantown, West Virginia. Our designs correspond to the local environment, creating a cohesive site that keeps the history of this area alive. We would like to extend our thanks to Professor Hasenmyer and Professor Yuill for seeing us through the design process and providing support and knowledgeable feedback throughout.
