Nuclear Doctrine
AL KHALID AGOSTA
Foreign military relations CHINA SRI LANKA FRANCE
Foreign relations of Pakistan Pakistan is the second largest Muslim country in terms of population (after Indonesia), and its status as a declared nuclear power, being the only Islamic nation to have that status, plays a part in its international role .
For several years prior to the November 2008 Mumbai attacks, Pakistan's relations with India had been gradually improving, which opened up Pakistan's foreign policy to issues beyond security. An increasingly important actor on the world scene, Pakistan formed the "Friend of Pakistan" group which includes important countries such as Australia, Britain, Canada, China, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, the United States, the United Nations and European Union
PAKISTAN’s Relation with Saudi Arabia Iran China India USA
SAUDI ARABIA
The bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan are close and friendly. In May 1998, before Pakistan's Chagai-I nuclear tests, Saudi Arabia promised to supply 50,000 barrels per day of free oil to help Pakistan cope with likely economic sanctions in the aftermath.
IRAN
In 1947 Iran was the first country to recognize the newly independent state of Pakistan The Shiite factor Pakistan has the second largest Shia population in the Muslim world after Iran
China
China helped pak. JF-17 Thunder fighter aircraft, K-8 Karakorum advance training aircraft, space technology, Al-Khalid tank, Babur cruise missile China played a major role in the development of Pakistan's nuclear infrastructure
India
There have been some improvements in relations since the mid-2000s. Most notably, Pakistan released an Indian man accused of being a spy in 2008: he had been detained since 1975. But relations soured slightly after the 2008 Mumbai Terrorist Attacks
U.S.A Main Points of Kerry Lugar Bill 1. Army will not interfere in politics2. Army's major postings will be approved by the US3. There will not be restrictions to US citizens in Pakistan (Black Water)4. There will be access of US to any person related to nuclear energy (Dr A Q Khan)5. Aid will be given to persons, not the Pakistan government Pakistan will make sure that their territory will not be used against any other.
Pakistan ‘s Politics 2006 to 2009 POLITICS
In the previous three years Pakistan has passed through political meltdown
The starting point of this melt down was killing of Nawab Akbar Bugti on 26 august 2006, by army in Baluchistan
THIS raises chaos and unrest through out the country specially in Baluchistan THIS also motivates centrifugal forces in the province and as a result Baluchistan now is an intrigaty issue
In a rather shocking move, the President, Gen. Perzez Musharraf dismissed the C.J of the Supreme Court of Pakistan, Iftikhar Mohammed Chaudhry for alleged “misuse of authority.” on MARCH 9 2007 This starts the lawyer's movement which shake the country for the up coming three years Media civil society x-service men etc all stand up with the lawyers to restore the cj
NO doubt lawyers movement was the most popular movement in history of Pakistan BUT it was started at the time when the country was on the target by the terrorist IT also add violence in the society
[object Object]
DISPUTE of lal masjid started when some female students capture a children library and kidnapped the employees of a Chinese misaaj centre
They also vowed to enforce Islamic laws in the federal capital and threatened to unleash a wave of suicide bombers if the government took any action to counter it,[object Object]
OPERATION SILANCE
Laal Masjid operation and lawyers movement put the president Mushraf “In the line of fire” HIS popularity was declining with a very high rate HE was a S.S.G commander “built to fight” AND HE CONTINUE TO FIGHT
Sharif brothers were coming back to Pakistan Benazir returned with blood shed of more than 100 people Lawyers movement and after shocks of laal masjid were in full swing And most important presidential ELECTION 2008 was also coming
But WHAT HE DID…………………? HE did what a SSG COMMANDER SHOULD DO ON november 3 he declared emergency RESPONSE TO IT was like”aajbazarmein pa bajoo lain chola”
ON 27 DECEMBER Benazir bhutto assassinated
ELECTION 18 FEB 2008
After the ELECTION YOUSAF RAZA GILLANI WERE ELECTED AS PRIME MINISTER ON MARCH 24 2008
ON 18 August 2008 after 9 years Gen pervaiz RESIGN , HERE ARE THE HISTORIC MOMENT OF HIS RESIGN SPEECH
After Mushraf Asif Ali Zardari became President of Pakistan AND after successful long march cj iftikhar choudary restored And some what political melt down of Pakistan is now freezed
