2. PHOTO-REALISM
This is when artists use pictures and multiple
photographs to paint, draw the exact picture again to a
point where it doesn’t even look like a drawing, doing a
drawing like this can take many months, even years. The
artist tries to draw the painting to a very realistic point.

3. PUNK
The punk genre started around 1974/76.
Punk is the type of genre that is very
aggressive or either rough. The punk genre
includes a range of things such as music and
clothing, a fair example would be the’ sex
pistols ‘. Punk music is very loud and to
some people may even sound like just
shouting. Being punk is also about anti
established views. Punk dressing is also very
unique as many would have Mohawks or
spiked hair with jewels, they would tend to
wear black clothing as well.
4. CARTOON
Cartoon is a form of illustrated art, this is also painted or a drawing. These
are then made into a TV series, these are 2 dimensional drawings that are
non realistic. Cartoons were first made in the middle ages, these were then
considered as humorous in the 20th century when they were strips I
magazines and newspapers.
5. URBAN
This is known as street, this focus on art such as graffiti. Urban fiction is
usually dark, focusing on the under ground side of city living. sex, and
violence are usually explicit language. Another side of urban is the music
side this includes music genres such as rap, r&b and hip hop.
6. POP ART
The pop art movement took place in the 1950s.

challenge to traditions of fine art by including
imagery from popular culture such as advertising
and news. In pop art, material is sometimes visually
removed from its known context, isolated, and/or
