anything without knowing exactly what he wants or is doing. Bane also
conducts things in a timely manner: he plans everything he is going to do
day by day to get what he wants and knows when and how he’s going to
do so to accomplish his goal of taking over, which leads to another type A
characteristic Bane shows. He is very goal oriented: Bane wants to take
over and destroy the city to make it his own and live a life with his love
Talia as he’s hoped for a while. Another characteristic Bane consists of is
he has very organized plans and ideas he wants to do to help accomplish
his goal: he plans the breaking out of the prisoners and his speech at the
end and all the poor and rich walking by during his speech.
• Only child: Bane was a very independent person: he was born into living
in a prison because of his father and got treated very poorly in
there, resulting in him being alone and him having to figure absolutely
everything out for himself . He is also is, as mentioned earlier, very
organized in everything he does. As much as a “bad guy” as Bane is he is
also a very responsible character and does everything with a lot of
thought and planning.

can exhibit moments of extreme rage but most of the time he is in control.

and anyone that cannot conform to his ways he kills. He does not

quite selfish, and this in someway goes with his narcissism.

• Visual-spacial: Bane is really good at making blue prints and designs for
his evil plots in this movie. For example: he made and designed the
underground establishment in the sewers where he did all his work and
planned his plots, he also beat batman in there and nobody would ever
think about anything being in the sewers so it was a very smart idea. Bane
can also see in dark which gave him an advantage for all his actions and his
success in his goals.
• Linguistic: Bane gives many powerful speeches to the public and really
gets to the crowd he was speaking or preaching to like the speech outside
of the prison when people were really listening to him and people were
watching on the TV. He is a very good orator. In all these speeches Bane
was extremely persuasive: he got all the prisoners to side with him and
buy into what he was saying and many people listening or hearing his
speeches also bought into his ideas and were persuaded by him.
• Bodily kinesthetic: Bane has a great body. He also has really great fighting
skills because he was trained by the league of shadows and trained in
mixed martial arts. He gave batman a real fight throughout and had
batman almost beaten at one point because of these things. (broke

• Although Bane is type A he is right hemisphere dominant because of his
innovative ideas of wanting something new and different, he wanted the
town to himself and to be run his way and have all his wonderful ideas
incorporated. Look at that bod!

• Schizoid: Because he was born alone he prefers to be
by himself and likes to take certain things into his own
hands that probably shouldn’t be. With the exception
of Talia, he feels no need for any other relationships
with any person. He doesn’t take part in any activities
other then those of his ideas to reach his goal or goals
and that’s it. Bane is definitely a very cold person, he
kills people and has no remorse or any emotions
present at all about it. It’s also just cold to try and take
over a town and destroy it along with people too. He
doesn’t feel anything about what people are saying or
yelling to him, he’s indifferent about the criticism
because he has one goal in mind and that’s all he cares
about.

8. Diagnosis Proof
• Narcissistic: Bane is very obsessed with himself: he believes he can
take over a whole town by himself with the help of others, but only
because he has to have them. He wants to run the town
himself, not the government and go by his rules and his ideas. Bane
is very ruthless and doesn’t care about anyone else’s opinions or
thoughts, only his are good to him and he will only do or listen to
his. He can just shoot somebody and feel absolutely nothing at all
and go on with what he wanted to do and not look back at what
he’s done once. Bane wants to be in control of not only the
town, but the people too and is very ambitious to get what he
wants and will eventually get it. Banes last speech in the stadium
shows how dominant he is or wants to be. He will persuade people
to follow him and do as he wants. Bane thinks very highly of
himself and doesn’t think anyone can stop him, not even batman.
In his fight with batman in the sewer establishment all he talks
about is himself and how great and powerful he is and the success
he’s going to have.
