from the Czech teacher John Amos
Comenius (1592 – 1670),
considered the father of modern
education. He introduced such
revolutionary concepts at the time

- Opened doors to education for
women
- A departure from dull memorization
towards a more practical instruction.

4. Our Comenius Project: Culture and
Environment
Our school's project is
centered around the topic
of Environment and
Culture.
We are learning about the
problems and dangers
that threaten our heritage,
both the natural and the
historical one.

- We have partner schools in six European
countries:

Latvia,
Romania,
Greece
Turkey.

- With these schools, and their teachers and students,
we perform activities related to the protection of
environmental and cultural heritage.

we upload all the

19. On the third day, we spent all day visiting Timisoara, a beautiful
and historical city. We ate at a restaurant and we returned to
Cîmpani.
29. First day.
On the first day, we all met at school and went to Málaga by car
to catch the plane to go to Turkey, but before we got to Turkey
stopped in Rome.
We arrived in Turkey at midnight, but we didn't get to our hotel
until 01:30.
30. Second day
We got up early and before heading back to the airport to go to
Karamürsel with our Comenius partners we went to see the
square where the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia were.
31. At 12 am we were at the airport to go together on the bus and
when we arrived the people had made us a welcome dinner.
After dinner we went home with our host families.
32. Third day.
The third day we were in school doing presentations and we ate at a
restaurant and when we ended the presentations we had a
European class where presentations of the traditional dances and
songs were made. After that we went with our hosts to their homes.
33. Fourth day
We got up early and took the bus to go to Istanbul. There we saw
the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Toscapi Palace and we ate at a
restaurant near the main square where the Blue Mosque and
Hagia Sofia are. We finished visiting everything about 18:30 and
took the bus back to Karamürsel.
34. Fifth day
We visited Yalova, near Karamürsel. Here, We
visited some monuments, The Moving House and a
big park.
In the afternoon, we visited Karamürsel´s centre.
35. This night ,we had a party with all countries and turkish people in the teacher´s hotel.
36. On Friday, we went to airport and the other countries took
their planes. The Spanish team went to Istambul alone.
We visited ‘The Cistern’, The Great Bazaar, The Bazaar of
Spices, The Galata Tower and other mosques.
38. FIRST DAY
We went by car to Málaga. When we arrived in Málaga we
waited for the plane for 3 hours. We took it at 7:00 AM and
we arrived in Hamburg at 10:30 AM and we took 6 trains
to go to the town of Jever. We met the French team in
Bremen, and when we arrived to our last train stop we met
the Greeks. Then we had a barbeque.
39. SECOND DAY
We woke up at 6 AM and we went to the school and we
showed our works. Later we went to the beer factory in
Jever. (The nearest city)
40. THIRD DAY
We went to the beach and we walked 8.8 km to Baltrum
Island, then we spent the afternoon there, we went to a
restaurant, and then to the beach. We went back to the
village by ferry.
41. FOURTH DAY
We went to Bremen, we visited it, we went to the
restaurant and we returned to the village we had 2 hours
free with the families and finally we went to the farewell
party.
42. FIFTH DAY
We said bye-bye to our host families. We went to
Hamburg Hotel by train, but we had a very big problem
with the reservation in the “hotel”, then we went to a new
and much better hotel and spent the night there. We
visited the port of Hamburg and a festival there.
55. Monday, 2nd
March
The first day we took the plane at 7 a.m. and we arrived to Barcelona at 9 a.m.
We took a second plane to Lyon at 10 a.m. and we arrived at 12 a.m. We ate in
Pizza Hut and we waited in the airport until 6 p.m. We arrived a Point Chéruy at
7:30 p.m., we had dinner in the Town Hall and then we go to the house of ours
host.
56. Tuesday, 3rd
March
We went to the school at 8 p.m. and we taked a bus to the Chartreuse Natural
Park. We discovered this mountains in snowshoeing. We were all the day in the
snow, we passed a very good day.
57. Wednesday, 4th
March
Wednesday we went to the school with our partners, and we did different
activities like cook, also each team did their presentation. We showed our
presentation and then we went to see a beautiful village called Crémieu. It was a
medieval city.
58. Thursday, 5th
March
We did a guided tour from the Fourvière to the Old Lyon, then, we had lunch
at a typical restaurant from Lyon called Bouchon and we went to La
Presqu'ile, where there was a beautiful river.
59. Thursday's afternoon
We did a special dinner together because it was the last night, we had a very
good time with music and some presents. Everyone was very friendly, we hope
see them again.
60. Friday, 6th
March
It was the last day, so we said goodbye to our friends and we go with the
german girls to a hotel because we were going to stay there until Sunday. In the
afternoon we visited some places of the center of Lyon.
61. Saturday, 7th
March
This day was too special, because Spanish Team and French Team were
together all the day in a shopping center, we ate together and then, we went to
a river where we were all the day.
At the night, Spanish Team cried and French Team too, because we known that
this day will be the last. Then, Spanish Group went to the hotel very sad.
62. Sunday, 8th
March
It was the last day in France, we were too tired, so we had lunch and we sat in a
river until the moment where a taxi took us to the airport.
64. The 1st
day we went to Jerez’s airport by car. We
took a plane to Madrid and then Another one
to Athens.

65. In the afternoon we visited the centre of the city, we met the German Team
and we went to have dinner. When we were in the restaurant, the Latvian
Team arrived.

66. In the morning, we met the French Team and we spent with
them and with the Latvian Team the whole day. We visited the
Acropolis and the Parliament.

DAY: ATHENS
67. We had lunch, we went shopping and in the afternoon we visited
Anafiótica, a neighborhood.

68. At 8 a.m. we took a bus to Larissa. We arrived to the high school
at 1.30 p.m.
Later, we had a reception from Mayor and the Principal of High
School. Then we had lunch in the school and at 5 p.m. we
went with our host families.

69. We went to Elassona, where we saw
an Audiovisual presentation. Later
we walked by Olympus Mountain
and we had lunch in a village
called Kokkinopilos.

After lunch: Tour of Plastiras Lake.In the afternoon we had a
‘party’ in Tachidromiou Square to celebrate the2 years of
Comenius.

DAY: VISITING LARISSA,

73. At 5.00 p.m. we went to Agiokampos: coastal village. Farewell
dinner.

farewell. We took a train
to Athens with the Latvian
Team and we went to the
hotel together. We went
shopping and at night we
had dinner.
7TH
DAY: LAST DAY IN LARISSA
75. We visited the National Archaeological Museum of Athens and a
little chapel.
At 1. 30 p.m. we went to the airport and two hours ad a half later we
took the plane to Madrid. There we had to wait two hours to take
the plane to Jerez.
8TH
DAY: LEAVING GREECE
