Good business, good academics, and a good life all have one thing in common: Those
living that good life, doing those good academics, and executing that good business are
all suffering from as little stress as they can. Stress is a damaging thing that can get in
the way of . . . Well, just about everything. It’s important to do everything in your power
to avoid being too stressed out, so here are five things you can do to reduce stress in
your MLM business. Some of them pertain to your general life, and some pertain
directly to your business, but they’re all wonderfully effective.
Exercise
It’s cliche advice, but only because it’s good advice. Exercising regularly is one of the
best ways to reduce stress. This is a scientifically proven fact, and there’s no shortage of
anectdotal evidence for its truth. Get to the gym three times a week at least, if you can,
and when you go home, you’ll feel a whole lot better, even into the day after.

Set Financial Goals . . .
. . . But acknowledge that goals are flexible. Chances are good you won’t be able to cop
$50,000 in a given amount of time, even if you have before and have everything in
place. The whole idea of goals is to let them be guidelines. If you set your goal to $50k
and make $45k, that’s fine. If you make more, that’s obviously great, too. The point is,
don’t get too hung up on specifics. Focus more on progress and on being in the ballpark
– this way, you’ll be successful throughout your career and be less stressed than you
would be had you focused on the details.
Surround Yourself with Support
Many people don’t believe in MLM. While everyone is entitled to his or her own beliefs,
you don’t need to be associating with people who are just going to tell you you’re making
mistakes. Instead, spend time with people who are also on their ways to striking it big
with multilevel marketing. Make friends at conventions, meet with the bigshots, and
make sure not to hang around the people who don’t believe in you or your business.

Accept the Failures
Before embarking on any journey, you have to acknowledge that you’ll fail, at least once,
but probably a few thousand times in various ways, before you make it big. If you think
you’ll get to success without trying all too hard, you’ll be disappointed when things go
wrong, and give up. The secret is persistence, and the secret to persistence is to be okay
with mistakes. So make them, and learn from them.
Use Your Tools
When you sign up with an MLM business, you’ll be given a whole bunch of tools. Many
people make the mistake of not exploiting these tools to the fullest, which is why they
never make it, and are always stressed. IF you use every tool in your toolbox, however,

you’ll be able to handle just about any situation with ease, and without stress. So learn
your toolbox and surround yourselves with greats to be less stressed and more
successful!
