Slides from presentation I did at Gospelcon, now called The Internet Ministry Conference. More on that here. http://godbit.com/article/gospelcon-2006-slides
1. The Gospel + Web Accessibility

Hi, I’m Nathan Smith.
2. What is web accessibility?
• Accessibility is:
Adding alt “tags” to images.
• Any questions?
3. That’s not all, folks
• Web accessibility is more than
just adding the alt attribute
to all of your images.
• It is a paradigm-shift in the way
we think about other people.
4. Myth busters
• Accessible sites are boring and ugly.
• I must maintain two sites: regular, and
one that exists only for accessibility.
• Accessibility is expensive to do!
No, but retro-fitting sure can be.
So, plan accessibility from the start.
