Thank you Bernie. Welcome Everyone. My part is focused on the Criteria and Benefits of the Authorized Academy Program. I will go through the next couple of slides quickly, as you can review the program guide for more detail. Best part of the program is there is no application fee to join for the North America Market to receive most of the benefits of the program. There is an advanced set of benefits that can be unlocked with a purchase of $500 worth of exam vouchers within a calendar year. We will talk about that in a few moments
The main requirement is that Academy partners are to maintain their diploma-degree granting NFP and Government funded agency status throughout the life of the partnership and offer training for CompTIA certifications To be able to cover good quality standards we recommend partner use CompTIA approved Quality Content material to ensure the students receive quality material that covers all exam objectives. We also recommend that partners provide a testing center within the premises to make it easy for students to take their exams. Contact your CompTIA representative on how to set up your testing center.
Finally, we recommend the instructor are certified in the course they teach. This makes sure they have the knowledge and skills to teach the subject. As part of partner benefit, which we will cover shortly, Instructors are eligible to receive complementary exam vouchers to support their certifications.
Program benefits, We will drill down into the program benefits in the next few slides
So lets start with our IT curricula and tools. We have It Career Guidance Tools, a curriculum Pathway, assessments and of course the exams themselves
Thank you, Bernie and good day everyone. The next thing on our agenda is the CompTIA certification upate. We have quite a bit of information for you regarding certification updates today that we trust you will find beneficial.
As this graphic image illustrates, A+ provides a stepping stone to an expansive career in IT. With certification and hands on experience an A+ certified individual can command a $50K/year salary and advance to more advanced roles in networking and security.
