1. Welcome back to Familiar Faces!
Chapter Twenty-One: Anyone Else But You - Part One
The Googly Eyes announce that it's time for UNI

2. When we last left the Familiars youngest daughter of the legacy Elle had just left to join her
siblings at university. But the story isn't about Elle, at least not completely. And before Elle got to
university things happened there that effect the story from this point forward. So we're going to
take a small trip back in time and catch everyone up on what???s happened to those that
preceded Elle to University.

3. University updates are generally a good time to introduce the entire cast of a generation. From
time to time during the university chapters various members of the extended Familiar family will
flash by on your screen. For a large part they won't be important; they'll just be the extras, the
bit players needed to fill a crowd scene or to get a point across. Don't worry if you get confused
or if you don't recognize a sim. I get confused too. Hopefully the few who will be most important
to the story will become obvious and I'll be able to do justice to them as they are reintroduced.

14. Whew I'm glad that's over with for the generation. It strains my mind to type those lines out.

15. The university play for the generation actually began quite awhile ago. Way back when Cary
and Cass took the kids to the lake Puck was already a part of the first wave of the generation's
university adventure. When Puck first started at Familiarity University he really didn't know too
many people. Having been a townie, he hadn't socialized with the family as much as the other
kids did.

16. That changed

17. Really, really fast

18. Of course Puck's a popularity sim, he'll do just about anything to gain himself some friends. But
in my opinion he should have been romance, there's just something about Puck that drives the
girls crazy. They stalk him, constantly. It's the girls that make the advances; he's normally too
shy to do so. He's also mostly too nice to say no, and that causes him problems.

19. One of the first orders of business for my legacy family members upon arrival at university is to
secure membership in the family Greek house, Puck was no exception. He would be the
primary Greek recruiter for the generation once he was in place at the Greek house. Before that
could happen though his sister Bottom and her best friend Delphine Nova had to be in place at
the dorm. It had been decided that each of the kids would spend their freshman year in the
dorm before moving to the Greek House. They'd come in waves, with a new group being added
every semester. First Puck; then Bottom and Delphy; followed by Emma and Elliot and lastly
Elle and Denise. By the time that Elle and Denise would move into the Greek House, Puck
would be a junior.

20. Delphy and Bottom hit university with a vengeance. Bottom's primary goal seemed to be to nab
Alexander Goth. The two had dated throughout high school, and the first thing she did upon
getting to college was roll up a want to invite Alex over for fun and games. They're an interesting
combination. Alex is knowledge and Bottom is Pleasure, generally the two aspirations don't
match up all that well, they aren't negatives for each other but they don't have attraction bonus's
either. Alex and Bo have just about everything in common from similar personalities to the same
lifetime wants it???s kind of cute, and kind of sickening. She'll eventually be able to convince
him that women working outside the home isn't a sin, the lifetime want they share is career
related. They both want to be criminal masterminds; I'll put my money on Alex being the
henchman.

21. "Jeez you two get a room!"
"We have a room thank you very much."
"Then why don't you use it? And save the rest of us from your sweetness?"
"Del just go call him and get it over with you know you want to."
"NO! I'm a romance sim I do not want to call my high school boyfriend. I want to find a new one
preferably several."
"If you say so."

22. "I thought you weren't going to call me."
"Dallan I'm a romance sim, I've been at university for almost a full semester and my woohoo
want is still locked. I'm jonesing here don't give me any crap."
"Well then my lady, I live to serve."

23. "This doesn't mean we're like together does it?"
*Gulp* "Do you want it to mean that?"
"NO! I mean not unless you do!"
"No I don't want it to mean that."
"Okay Good"
"Good"
"Well okay so then I'll see you sometime right?"
"Sure you know whenever, just ahh call me."

24. Pretty soon the semester was over and it was time for Puck to appropriate the Greek House
from the resident zombie placeholder. Last generation the placeholder DJ stayed with the kids
and went through university with them. But this time that's not going to happen. Not only will we
already have seven in the house but Suzie the placeholder has a few issues with the family.

25. You see she's still a little teed off over Dwight's perma plat party when Dwight's roommates
mistakenly invited all of his loves to the house at the same time. Cat fights ensued, a revenge
vamping occurred and the party boys haven't seen their newspaper since. Suzi has issues, she
does

26. With Puck at the Greek House it was time for Emma and Elliot to move into the dorm to join
Delphy and Bottom. Emma and Elliot have always gotten along very despite the differences in
their personalities. They share quite a few interests, including their latest mutual addiction.
"Look Em, for the hundredth time I'm sorry you died. I shielded you, and I healed you. Next time
take a minute to look around and see what the three adds your big bear butt pulled are
pounding on and taunt them off the priest!"

27. "My big bear butt? I don't think so; I seem to recall a priest that didn't fade fast enough Psychic
Screaming an orc into that pack of dogs. Don't make me re-spec and show you how a real
healer heals."
"Pfft, like a Druid could ever out heal a priest. Anyway I'm done with this conversation; we can
complete the quest tomorrow. Tonight I'm seeing Deanna."
Yep they're playing WoW.

28. "Hey you, come here. Did you miss this as much as I did?"
"Bet. Hey, how come I'm always waiting for you to grow up?"
"I'm just lucky that way."
"Good thing you know it too."

30. "Eli you were my best friend as a child; you were the first boy I kissed the only one I dated as a
teen. I've spent the last semester being the only virgin in my dorm because I plan on you being
the only man I'm ever going to be with. I'm very sure, but if you don???t want to do this then we
won't."
"Oh I want to; I really want to. I love you Deanna, I intend to love you forever. I just don't want to
make a mistake."

31. "So how was it? Was Elliot worth waiting for? Is there any truth to the nose rumors?"
"Nose rumors? Huh?"
"You know sis, long nose long hose?"
"I'm not going to tell you that Dru. You know I don't kiss and tell."

32. "Hahaha that's a good one, if you're not telling that means you're not kissing.
Let me guess you and Elliot spent the night mutually satisfying your extreme desire to cuddle?"

33. "And what would be wrong with that if we did? Cuddling is a very intimate expression of a
couples love. The ability to cuddle is a lost art; in societies rush for satisfaction we've misplaced
intimacy."
"Spent the night cuddling and the morning googling psychology journals? Whatever helps you
sleep sis."

34. "Must get dream dates soon, urge to jump on the couch fading. Buy a bubble blower! Buy a Car!
Invite Adonis over. Aspiration failure nearing peak."

35. "Please tell me you didn't just greet the Drama Professor with a kiss Emma. We have a
reputation to uphold at this school you know. Familiar's don't date for grades we use influence
on dormies for that."
"Don't worry she's not a drama major so she's not getting graded on this."
"Well that's a relief then carry on."

36. Emma's a bit too friendly for her own good. All of Titania's kids are. They have a hard time
saying no sometimes. This will cause me headaches in the future, I know it will. I've gotta hook
her up soon. Don't worry Emma we'll find him soon, I promise.

37. Umm no Emma that's not him.
"But vampires with glitchy fangs are sexy! Bolt!"
"Help me out here Jenn; I am not going to get socked in the nose by Sierra again. Once was
enough I learned my lesson two generations ago."

38. "I just wanted to be friends!"
Emma meet Bob, you know your great-great uncle, that Bob. Bust a move, tell him a joke, and
hang out for a bit but no touchy. Vampires in the wild are friendly unless provoked.
After you make friends go start calling that list of names I gave you.

39. "Yeah hi umm Don right? My names Emma and I'm this generation's legacy heiress for the
Familiar family. Right so my list says you're romance and see I'm pleasure so what do you say
to going on lots of dream dates, getting married and making babies?"
"What? Yeah I'm Cassandra's grand-daughter and umm Dina's great-great granddaughter yep
that Familiar family. Oh, I see you left my grandmother at the altar and repeatedly cheated on
both her and my great-great-great aunt with my great-great grandmother who was cheating on
my great-grandfather with you. Well okay, I guess you wouldn't be that great of a potential
legacy spouse after all."
"Okay, yeah we'll call you the next time there's a 20 woohoo want. Eww stop talking about my
great-grandmother that way please. No I won't tell what I'm wearing. Stop breathing like that I'm
hanging up now."

40. "Mom, Dave I think you guys are making Dad a bit uncomfortable."
"She's just doing it to get my goat up Puck; she was always good at getting my goat up which is
why she ended up married to this loser instead of me."
"No Puck I'm married to David because your father interpreted the title King of the Fairies a bit
differently than Shakespeare's original intent."
Welcome to Family day at Familiar University.

41. Bottom and Delphy soon left to take up residency at the Greek house.
"Toga?"
"Toga"

42. This meant that Elle and Denise the final two members of the first circle were now on campus!
"If you didn't come to party, don't bother knockin' on my door."
"You know I'm here to party Denise, so let's go!"

43. No no no no no you were NOT invited to this party Adonis!
"You said I could bring a friend."
I thought it'd be one of the other cousins though Darlene, maybe your grandmother, even your
great-grandfather Kiernan would have caused less potential explosions than Adonis can. Jeez
don't you people read your own family's Legacy?

44. "This doesn't mean we're together."
"Course not, we're romance sims. Romance sims don't do together."

45. I don't even want to know who's gonna walk out of that photo booth after you, do I? What I don't
know can't hurt me. At least it can't hurt me any worse than the knowledge that you have 1-3
bolts with every single significant female of the generation already does.
"I only have 3 bolts with Ms Bottom when she is in her swimming attire. And I do have 2 bolts
with Ms Eva when she is in hers. Ms Emma, Ms Elle, Ms Delphine and Ms Denise stay at 2
bolts no matter if they are wearing their swimming attire or not."
Thanks for the clarification Adonis, umm yeah.

46. "Hey you, yeah Dane I'm talking to you. Go Roh hoh hoh with someone else. Bottom is mine!"
"Don't be so possessive love or I'll have to bring up the heart farting Danya in the kitchen issue."
Alex is very possessive; he does a walk by of the Greek house at least once a day. I don't know
why he thinks he has to do that though if he'd stay home Bottom would call him for a date or an
outing. With these two it's a constant round of 'I had a great time on our date let's do it again!'

47. I always let them go on dates, because Alex never fails to deliver expensive presents afterward.
Thanks Alex we appreciate the donation to the 'we spent way too much money on the Greek
House rebuild this generation' fund.

48. And so it starts . . . every house, every night, and every sim. I start regretting the whole fifty-four
sims at university right about now.

49. "Hey Chaz; Great party huh?"
"Awesome party dude, you guys rock!"
"Yeah hey I got something to tell you, I want to cleanse my conscience. Cause you're my friend
and everything."

50. "I'm sleeping with your great-granddaughter, I hope you don't mind. We're both romance so it's
not like we're together but well you know how it is."
"Hey, hold on a minute. What do you mean my great-granddaughter? I have a great-
granddaughter?"
"Dude you have five of em."
"Whoa, are they hot?"

52. "You should come down to the bowling alley next weekend. The secret society is having its
annual bowl-a-thon for zombie charities. Give you a chance to meet a few more members."
"But I'm not a member; I don't wanna horn in on your event. Besides if it's the secret society isn't
it supposed to be I dunno secret?"

53. "Well you're not a member yet, but that's really just a formality isn't it. You'll most likely be a
member by then. As for being secret well five generations of everyone in your family being a
member pretty much blows the cover off any attempts to keep people in the dark."

54. "I'm giving you fair warning, we're voting this week to seek legal recourse against the Familiar
family for the harsh treatment of society members, namely the zombification of myself and
others against our free will. You've removed my deep-seeded family sim need to procreate and
you won't be allowed to get away with it. We will be making a plea to Grim himself to revoke
your family's resurrection privileges."
"Anyone stupid enough to willingly eat cow cake shouldn't be allowed to breed, that's justice. I'm
knowledge if I want to create a zombie I will, as a direct descendant it's allowed. Next time try to
die when one of the cousins is on watch, they don't have zombie rights, and they'll let you stay
dead. "
"He's right it's in UA charter. If you want the charter changed you'll need to speak to Bob. You
might flirt with him a bit; I've heard he likes that."

55. "You have a job don't you? You look like a guy with a really good job. I really like guys with jobs."
"Halp!"
Clay baby walk away, no touching your roommates niece unless you want a knuckle sandwich.

56. "I saw that Delphy, how could you do that? How could you flirt with him like that right in front of
me?"
"Dallan we're romance sims. Flirting is what we do."

58. "Alright I've got three quests in Halls to complete, wanna grab a few people and run it real
quick? We can get it done and still have time to knock out a few dailies for your epic."

I already know what you think about that Mom, you don't have to tell me again. I hope that you
start trying to at least like her before our wedding. No Mom I haven't asked her yet, but I'm going
to. No Mom I don't think that's rushing it at all. Mom I'd think that after five years you'd be used
to Deanna by now."

making a connection but then as soon as we found out we live near each other he has to go?

night? What's she doing here I wouldn't think that new pledges would care that much about the
society causes yet."
"Oh that's the heiress. Emma Familiar, she's the girl to get at the moment and I plan on getting
her."

72. "So don't do any of your normal stupid stuff and make me look bad again. Aldric, I swear if you
ruin this for me I'm telling Mom!"
"Wah Wah Wah I'm gonna tell Mommy on you!. Grow up Americ, and as for your heiress, I don't
have to do anything to make you look bad. You manage that just fine on your own. Good luck to
you though, if you want some stuck up spoiled princess it's your funeral."

73. "So do you like being in the Secret Society Emma, pretty fun group of people huh?"
"Yeah well everyone seems really nice; I don't know too many people yet. I think I got in mainly
because of my cousins; several of them were already members before I got here. Who's the guy
you were arguing with before?"
"Him? Oh that was just my stupid little brother Aldric. He's a jerk."
"Ah yeah I have two brother's and three sisters so I know how that can be. So do you guys do
fund raisers like this a lot?"

74. "Nah not really, for the most part we just hang around the college lots looking superior and stuck
up. You wouldn't believe some of the people that try to join but we only give memberships to

75. "Amazing when there are so few slots available that you'll manage to find room for me and my
fifty-three cousins all in the same year. Wow we must be extra special huh? It must have
something to do with all the donations that have flowed from our family into the society over the
years making us special."

76. "Hey I'm about to leave but I was wondering if maybe you'd like to go get some coffee or
something. I figure that if your brother dislikes you as much as he seems to that you must not
be half bad."
"You mean a d.d.d.date?"
"No I mean coffee maybe some food."

77. So Emma and Aldric went down the street to reds and ended up ordering food and talking most
of the night. Once Aldric was able to get over stuttering they found out they had a lot in common
and Emma started wondering if she should try to get to know him better.
"How much older than you is Americ? He can't be that much older since you are both in the
same class."
"Twenty minutes we're twins."
"Wow twenty minutes? They way he talked it sounded like you were a lot younger than he. I
have an aunt and uncle that are twins but they get along pretty well, most times"

78. "Americ never liked sharing with me. From bottles to toys to friends everything was his, and he's
the oldest so Dad and Mom spoiled him. I'm just kinda the one they got stuck with as part of the
package deal."
"Whoa that's wonky, my parents ended up with way more kids than I think either of them really
planned on but they always treat us all the same. It's kinda a yours mine and ours situation.
Mom had two kids, and then she married Dad and they had me and my sister, but there's also
my Dad's son. And Dad's a plantsim so he ended up sporing a pod when I was a teen."
"That's pretty cool, this girl I like has a bunch of brothers and sisters too and she's always
talking about them like she likes them. It woulda been nice to grow up like that."

79. "Ooh so you like a particular girl? Are you going out with her."
"Yeah, I mean no we aren't going out I'd like to ask her out but she'll never want to go out with
me. I mean look at me, I'm a mess. Who'd want to go out with someone like me?"
"Well I dunno I don't think you're all that bad, a little work would fix you right up I'm sure. And
any girl that doesn't realize that you're an awesome guy on the inside isn't worth your time."

80. "You think maybe I'm fixable? Would you help me?"
"Yeah I guess I could what the heck sure I can. It's too late tonight I've got class in the morning
but how bout Thursday? We'll go shopping and see what we can do."
"That'd be great you're so awesome Emma, Thanks a lot!"
"Yeah sure thing."

81. "Puck Baby!"
"Hey Della, what's up?"
"I just came by to see you sweet cheeks."
"Ahh Great! Umm there's some pizza why don't you go grab a slice I've gotta go umm do
something but I'll be back. Make yourself at home, like always."

82. "So what are you doing out here?"
"I'm blowing bubbles with you. What does it look like I'm doing Dorme?"
"It looks like you're trying to avoid the five or six girls that are hanging around the living room
waiting to corner you and drag you off someplace private."
"Well yeah, that too."
"You know they're just going to keep at you till you pick one of them, don't you? Once you pick
one the rest will get the hint and leave you alone. Mostly they will at least."
"I don't know which one to pick, I like em all. But I don't think I'm really in love with any of them.
Does that make me terrible?"

83. "Nah, not too terrible at least. But if you don't want them to keep hanging around you need to
tell them."
"Yeah I know, but they're all really nice and I don't want to hurt any of them. It's your turn to tell
me why you're here and not out dating your way across campus?"
"Nice change of subjects. I'm here because after thirty or so first dates, if I had to make first
date small talk tonight I would have screamed, which isn't a good way to avoid bags of poo."
"So we're both hiding, hehe we need more bubbles."

84. "Obviously I'm not the best one to give advice. I can't figure out my own love life. But you seem
pretty sure about Deanna to me. You're always with her; I've never seen you fight. If anyone
looked at me the way I've seen her look at you I'm pretty sure I'd be gone. I guess I just don't
get why you have doubts. Is there someone else you're interested in?"

85. "Naw, there's no one else it's just that Mom says that she and Dad dated all through high school
and came to college together. Everyone figured they were going to be together forever. But she
says that she ended up feeling boxed in and restless. I don't want Deanna or me to feel that
way. I don't want anything to mess us up. But then I kinda feel like I'm messing us up because I
feel that way."
"Well I hate to say this but your Mom might not be the best person to take advice from. I'm sure
she thinks she has your best interests in mind but no Mother likes seeing their kid grow up.
From what I've heard and I don't know the whole story of course, your Mom and Dave had
problems right from the start. They just didn't admit that they did until it was almost too late.
Here's my best advice look ahead picture yourself in ten years, picture what you want your life
to be like."

86. "Okay"

"Yeah"

88. "If you brought me up here to cuddle again, you can just spend the night cuddling with yourself.
I'll go home and take a nice long shower and then get a good nights sleep that isn't interrupted
by your snoring."
"Well I was hoping to cuddle with you, but . . . .

89. I was thinking of saving that for after."
"Thank Wright, it's about dang time."

90. On Thursday Emma kept her 'date' with Aldric. And if she felt a little bit of a twinge helping him
get another girl well she'd get over it. She could at least be friends with him and friends help
each other.

91. "How bout this one? This looks nice, don't you think?."
"No you don't want that one Aldric, stay here and I'll go pick a few things out for you."

92. "Okay clothing is done, next stop's the gym."
"The gym! Aww do we have to?"
You want to look your best don't you? And I switched the clothes to a smaller size, if you want to
fit into them you'll have to lose the juice gut."

93. A couple of hours of working out and Aldric was looking a bit more fit. The Maxis heavy body
shape just doesn't work well on men. Heavy women get boobs and butts and look healthy,
heavy men get a beer belly the size of Texas, it's really not fair.

94. "Great job, you know I bet you have a nice face under all that hair. You really shouldn't try to
hide it. Let's go back to my place and see what we can do about fixing it."
"You think I should change my hair too? I guess I was a bigger mess than I thought I was."
"You don't have to change your hair if you don't want to. I thought you looked okay to begin with
you're the one that wanted me to help you look your best. I'm just thinking a little shaping not
much just a little."

95. "No not scissors! I hate scissors!"
"Hush this will only take a minute. And if you don't stop squirming the scissors might slip and get
your ear by mistake."

96. "See I told you there was a good looking guy under all that fuzz."
"Hey I'd forgotten that I have green eyes. Thanks Emma today was really great. Not that many
people would take the time to help a guy out like you did. I'm really glad we're friends."

97. "Don't worry about Elle, you'll find someone soon I'm sure. You can take as much time as you
need deciding who you love."
"Finding someone to love isn't the problem, finding someone that I think I can stand to live with
long term is. Most of the guys here are just interested in partying; they aren't looking ahead and
thinking about their futures. I'm already permanent plat so my future is secure I don't want to be
with someone that doesn't have the same drive to succeed."

98. "They can talk all they want about how they're going to be this or that but how do I know they
will be."
"Are you sure you're not a fortune sim."
"It's not about money, Bo. It's about social standing. When I throw dinner parties I want to be
introducing my guests to my husband the Surgeon or the Mayor, not the bookie or the intern.
Plus woohoo with a Space Pirate has to be more exciting than woohoo with a record store clerk.
Though I'm not really sure about that since all the Space Pirates I know are married, but I do
know that the record store clerk I met downtown wasn't all that."

99. [Tuskinator] whispers: Hey there Cowbella, how's it going?
To[Tusikinator]: Long time no chat, I was starting to wonder if you were going to talk to me
again.
[Tuskinator] whispers: I know, I'm sorry but see I got scared. I really like you, I like chatting with
you and I think I'd like to get to know you better. But when I found out that we go to the same
school I started thinking about the possibility of meeting you face to face and that freaked me
out a bit. I'd like to meet you, just to talk, no funny stuff I swear. I'm just afraid that when you
meet me you won't like me.
To [Tuskinator]: I already like you, I think I'd like to meet you too.

100. "So fifty first dates? That's quite an accomplishment. What are you doing to celebrate?"
"I'm going to throw a party at the dorm tonight, just friends you'll are invited of course that's why
I came by, to let you know about it. I'm hoping that it doesn't turn into a mess, from what I gather
there are at least twenty people wandering around campus with fall in love with Dorme wants in
their panels. One of the hazards of the journey I'm afraid. So if you look around tonight and I'm
not there I'll be hiding."

101. "So question? Why didn't you ever ask me out on a date? I would have been happy to help you
knock one of them out. You asked out almost everyone else be never me why's that?"
"Hmm well, I guess I figured you were always getting asked out by different girls and that you
don't really like it. I was also afraid that if I did ask you out I'd end up doing something stupid like
falling in love with you and becoming one of the stable of stalkers that you try to avoid. I didn't
want you to avoid me, so I figured the safest way to stay your friend is not to fall in love with
you. Silly huh?"
"Yeah Silly"

102. I hope I recognize Tusk, he said he'd be the guy in the cowboy hat singing really bad karaoke.
Hopefully there's only one of those here.
