6. Ideal audience of Breaking Bad
Our ideal character the watch breaking bad is steven who is a
white middle class man from Surrey who follows no religion and
has been to university. He owns an Iphone 5s as he likes to
keep up to date with the media, and his favourite social media is
twitter. He has recently had a child with his girlfriend called lily.
Steven is a supervisor at IBM and is trying to move up in the
company as he knows he can do better for himself and his
family. His job pays him an annual salary of £25,000 so that he
has enough money to fund his family but still can be very
materialistic. This money also provides him to buy alcohol on a
daily basis which creates an escape from his normal day to day
life. Steven can relate to breaking bad as where he is now a
father he can relate to Walt as he knows he would do exactly the
same for his family. But also can relate to Jesse as he still sees
himself as younger man.
