2. Shot/Reverse Shot
• Shot reverse shot is a camera/editing
technique used to show conversation. Most
commonly used within soaps, films and
anything to do with acting; Shot/Reverse shot
shows one actor looking/talking to another
character, then the other character is shown
looking/talking back at the first character. The
characters being opposite eachother, gives the
delusion that the characters are actually
talking to eachother.

looking in a specific direction, then shows a
second shot of the area towards the character
was looking.
