 Her childhood dream was to grow up to be a ballerina
 As a teenager, she commuted to Manhattan at 6a.m. to
attend the Nightingale-Bamford School
 resides in Brooklyn with her Husband Richard
 Has two children Agnes and Oscar
 She is known for writing the “Gossip Girl” series book
and TV Show a CW show

 Cecily became inspired to create the Gossip Girl series,
which presents a view of high-end teenage lifestyles.
 The series climbed to the top of The New York Times
Best Sellers list in 2002
 Girl was adapted for television in 2007
 The show premiered to more than a million viewers and
from episodes one to two, from 3.65 million viewers

4.  In early 2011, The CW renewed the series for a fifth
season
 Cecily created the spin-off, The It Girl, from Gossip Girl
and it made the Best Sellers List in 2005.
 Gossip Girl Novel series consists of 13 books
 The it Girl Novel series consists of 10 book
 Gossip Girl: The Carlyles was also a spin off of Cecily
