5. It only takes you 4 … yes, four easy
steps to make it happen!
6. Step 1
Head over to your cPanel and create a
subdomain
Note: Subdomain can be of any name
Examples
1. cdn.reginaldchan.net
2. static.reginaldchan.net
7. Step 2
Make sure the subdomain is
pointing to your root directory
(should be /public_html in most
cases)
Like the below:
8. Step 3
Head over to Simple or Advanced
DNS Editor in your cPanel
• Set Name as your CDN subdomain
• CNAME as your main website
Like the below:
9. Step 4
Edit wp.config and add this:
If you have Google Analytic, add
this near the <body>
11. Important Note
If you are using CloudFlare or any
type of Content Network Delivery
(CDN), please get your hosting and
CDN provider to verify on the CNAME.
For example, using CloudFlare will
give you an error when you are
following the above guide in changing
the CNAME. Basically, the hosting or
CDN provider will give you a new A
figure to place in.
