 The What:
Today each Learning Area will meet to upload our Unit Plans for
each of our subjects to the Ultranet
 The Why:
This work will enable us to better collaborate and share resources in
the teaching of our classes
 Where to next?
In the future, our subject wiki will include all of our digital resources
required to teach each of our subjects

To log in:
Use your TO number and password (same as edumail)

4. NAVIGATING TO THE STAFF SITE
 Using our ‘Notices’ application (on your homepage) find the
following message
Select ‘Staff Site’

5. WELCOME TO THE ‘STAFF SITE’
 This site is a secure space for us to collaborate
(The current Chaffey Staff site on Google is NOT secure)
 Please take a short moment to search through the menu at the
top
 Please select ‘Work Programs’ and your Learning Area

Sub Pages are the categories we wish to
break our unit plans into
CML – Chaffey Modular Learning Unit Plans
Year 7 – Year 7 Unit plans

Only one teacher can work in a wiki page at a time.

9. UPLOADING A UNIT
1. Select the appropriate SUBPAGE
2. Click edit:
3. Type in INITIALS/UNIT/SUBJECT/TERM/YEAR

4. Select your text, then Click to ‘link’ your unit plan
(This opens your content page)

7. You will need to find your unit plan (on your own PC) Select it!

Type in a few ‘Tags’ to help you search for the file in future – Check
out the example below and click UPLOAD

 Check the appropriate boxes. Assuming its your own work, it
should look like this! Click Continue.

13. LINKING YOUR FILE
 Okay… Last step!
Select the file in your contents
…and it should look like this.

14. IN CONCLUSION
 That is the process to link a file to the Ultranet.
 Any file you have uploaded, will remain in your content.
 Your content can be viewed by clicking the purple folder in your
Ultranet icons (bottom of screen)
Upload a new file
Return to start Extension

 Return to your homepage
 Find this message and click ‘Students Site’
