2. North Mercia Pistol & Rifle Club (NMPRC) supports
and promotes all legal forms of competitive target
shooting.
To accomplish this the club holds regular shoots at its
range at Prees Heath.
These initial presentations are to be viewed in
‘Addition’ to the main shooting protocols drawn up by
the committee.
3. We require all new members to carefully read these
protocols and comply with them.
Copies can be found in the training binder under
Appendix A to C.
It is the individuals responsibility to become familiar
with their Legal obligations & responsibilities.
Remember legally... “Ignorance is no defence”.
If you are unsure of anything just ask!
4. All new members and visitors will be supervised at all
times until they have achieved a suitable level of
competence.
The law requires that all new members undergo a
probationary period of 6 months before they can
obtain full membership of any shooting club.
During this probationary period individuals will be
instructed & assessed on their shooting ability.
5. Finally.
While everyone's safety is our primary consideration
our main objective is for you to enjoy shooting.
Once you have learned how to follow all safety
requirements it will become second nature.
