Virgin Islands National Park
If you visit the Virgin Islands then you will remember this wonderful experience for
the rest of your life. The Virgin Islands National park has prehistoric sites on a lot of
their beaches. The Virgin Islands have many holidays such as on the fourth Monday in
July it is hurricane supplication day.There are many things to do on the Virgin Islands
such as boating, they have many tours, fine cuisine, you can go snorkeling and much,
much more.The Virgin Islands have about 7,000 plus acres of land and founding dated
back to thousands of years.There are many things to do on the island like swimming
with the dolphins, water skiing, boat tours, and many more things to do. For getting
around there are ferries, public buses, but bicycling is not recommended around the
park.
There are many things to do at the Virgin Islands and the Virgin Islands National
Park. You can go to any different beaches and swim,go to a gift shop, sea kayak,
snorkel, and you can even go sail boating! You can also see many beautiful coral reefs
and explore historic ruins for endless hours of fun! For if the weather may not be that
enjoyable and you want to stay inside you can go to a small museum located at the
battery. Some outdoor activities for when it is nice is camping and setting up tent, also,
there is scuba diving to see the beautiful coral reefs and even hiking. One of the hikes
they offer is a reef bay hike which is very enjoyable.There are many beaches on the
Virgin Islands which are all very nice.These are such as Trunk Bay, which is said to be
one of the most beautiful beaches in the world.
2. There are many animals on the Virgin Islands. One of these animals is a lizard.
An iguana to be exact. Some other animals on the Virgin Islands are a mongoose.
Mongoose are carnivores and they eat snakes,rodents ,birds, and reptiles. Other
animals on this gorgeous island are birds and with over 144 species of them on the
island it is very extraordinary. Sea grass and mangroves help the seas Eco
system.There are a ton of species of fish also and other animals.Other animals that live
there are sea anemone, coral reefs, sharks,dolphins and sea urchins.
Where is the island you ask, well here it is. The Virgin Islands National Park is on
the smallest of the three islands owned by Americans. The Virgin Islands National Park
takes up about half of St. John. The most common ways to access the island is a ferry
boat, but there might be an airport depending on where your staying. Some things to do
around it are visit the Buck Island National Monument. Some things to do in the Virgin
Islands National Park are visit the Watermelon Cay.This is a beautiful cay that you can
take a 10 minute hike across the beach. Most of the restaurants are in the vicinity of
Cruz Bay which is breathtaking! once you get on St. John there is no official entrance to
the Virgin Islands National Park, it is all protected.

there, and even if your not going there, it is amazing. There are many fun things to do
on the island and I hope you think about going. If you do go, this will be a breathtaking
adventure. With all of the sites, museums, activities, and swimming it would be the
perfect vacation destination.This is one of the most beautiful places in America.
