        and interactive internet activities across various content
        worlds. Content is updated continually by events, time and
        place, connecting your child to real events in real time.

        rich, independent online adventures in a safe, fun, interactive
        internet environment.

Special Needs

                                                                 The Comfy™ Keyboard System has been tested
                                                                 in kindergartens and schools for children with
                                                                  special needs including children with intellectual
                                                                  and developmental disabilities, children with
                                                                   autism spectrum and pervasive developmental
                                                                   disorders (ASD & PDD), children with speech
                                                                    and language impairment, children who are
                                                                    developmentally delayed, and children with
                                                                     learning disabilities. The test was directly
                                                                      supervised by highly qualified experts in
                                                                      the field: occupational therapists, speech
                                                                       and language therapists, psychologists,
                                                                       psychiatrists, teachers, and others.
                                                                        The unanimous feedback from these
                                                                        professionals is that the Comfy™ Keyboard
                                                                         System is very suitable for children with
                                                                         special needs, and can contribute to their
                                                                          development.




Comfy™ Keyboard System and software has received the Able Play Seal of Approval. An Able Play rating is a
snapshot of a toy’s appropriateness for children with special needs (www.ableplay.org).

The Comfyland Experience™ was designed by architect Zvi Tamari from Team Architects.
The unique design is composed of 3 “C” shaped sections, each providing a different theme and
content: the Senses Corner, the Music Corner, and the Cognitive Corner. They are arrayed in
a maze- like structure, attracting the child to go through the different corners, and offering a
dynamic, mental and physical voyage of investigation and exploration.

The first years of a child’s life are characterized by learning
 and exploring the world through the senses – sight, touch,
  smell, hearing and taste. These senses are the primary
 channels through which the child can gather and process
      information from the surrounding environment.
        In our Senses Corner each activity has been
    developed to focus on one or more of the senses
       (apart from taste) in an effort to reveal exciting

                  In their early stages, children undergo significant cognitive
                  developments such as learning to speak and using symbols
                for thinking. At a second stage they actively seek explanations
                      related to the world around them. They start defining,
                 remembering and classifying the vast amounts of information
                    they receive, such as cause and effect, the way we learn
                     and draw conclusions, and how we set our imagination
                    free. At this stage fine and gross motor skills are greatly
                                       developed and enhanced.
                           In our Cognitive Corner we have developed
                             fun-filled activities and games that target
                                      this stage of development.

Special Needs The Comfy™ Keyboard System has been tested in kindergartens and schools for children with special needs including children with intellectual and developmental disabilities, children with autism spectrum and pervasive developmental disorders (ASD & PDD), children with speech and language impairment, children who are developmentally delayed, and children with learning disabilities. The test was directly supervised by highly qualified experts in the field: occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, psychologists, psychiatrists, teachers, and others. The unanimous feedback from these professionals is that the Comfy™ Keyboard System is very suitable for children with special needs, and can contribute to their development. The Comfyland Experience™ is designed to provide a complete solution for Comfy™ toddlers, as young as 12 months, in Family Entertainment Centers or as a stand alone venue, by creating a unique educational Edutainment oriented toddlers’ play area, exposing them to age-appropriate activities in a dynamic Centers and safe surrounding. WINNER OF THE IAAPA IMPACT AWARD The Comfyland Experience™ was designed by architect Zvi Tamari from Team Architects. The unique design is composed of 3 “C” shaped sections, each providing a different theme and content: the Senses Corner, the Music Corner, and the Cognitive Corner. They are arrayed in a maze- like structure, attracting the child to go through the different corners, and offering a dynamic, mental and physical voyage of investigation and exploration. 24

Specially Designed 3 Activity Corners Senses Corner Play, experience, and learn through the senses The first years of a child’s life are characterized by learning and exploring the world through the senses – sight, touch, smell, hearing and taste. These senses are the primary channels through which the child can gather and process information from the surrounding environment. In our Senses Corner each activity has been developed to focus on one or more of the senses (apart from taste) in an effort to reveal exciting Music Corner activities through exploration. Play, explore, and produce sounds. Listen and enjoy music In our Music Corner we expose children to different sound stimuli, which differ from one another in pitch, intensity and nuance, thereby developing their ability to distinguish between sounds. We challenge the child to explore various musical instruments and to understand the relationships between the various tunes and sounds. Cognitive Corner Play, think & develop varied cognitive skills In their early stages, children undergo significant cognitive developments such as learning to speak and using symbols for thinking. At a second stage they actively seek explanations related to the world around them. They start defining, remembering and classifying the vast amounts of information they receive, such as cause and effect, the way we learn and draw conclusions, and how we set our imagination free. At this stage fine and gross motor skills are greatly developed and enhanced. In our Cognitive Corner we have developed fun-filled activities and games that target this stage of development. 25
