Access Control Plug-and Use units are prefabricated off site for delivery and connection on site. The main purpose of access control unit is to secure your premises, venue or construction site and ensure only authorized personnel and visitors are allowed. Software supplied with the system provides detailed reports of Roll Call (fire register), Attendance, CSCS audit, employee list, CO2 footprint based on distance travelled by staff, etc. The reports can be easily configured to client's specification for export into other software used for construction analysis, payroll and accountant's software.

I would like to introduce you to our new range of customised Access
Control systems. The main purpose of these systems is to boost
construction site compliance with Health & Safety and Fire regulations,
as well as site security by automating log-in, log-out register and creation
of Fire register in case of emergency. But there is more to it, as the
features of Access Control system can extend much beyond the main
system purpose. It allows extraction of data to be used in conjunction
with accounting software for work-time calculation, as well as in project
analysis to monitor any particular trade flow, man hours, etc at any
specific time length of the project.
The systems we offer are manned access control unit (with monitored
doors) and unmanned access control unit (with full-height turnstile and
intercom system). All systems are specifically configured, designed and
tested for construction industry. They come as off-site preconfigured
plug-and-use units, and only require mains power connection on site. The
issuing of access ID cards to personnel takes 2-3 minutes (six hours for
approx. 300 staff). Each system includes 100 ID cards to start with. The

Access Control system; comprises of main Access control computer on
the Windows XP platform with Golden Gate 2002 software, which stores
authorisation data base and keeps the log of all issued cards, all access
activity and provides settings to all control boards. The system allows to
control up to 255 control boards. Each board can control one double-
sided door or two single-sided doors. (Double sided door is the one
which requires authorisation for entrance as well as for exit, but single-
sided door requires authorisation only for entrance, where exit is allowed
by pressing the button or other preconfigured event.) Each door is
supplied with a break-glass button, which is used in emergency to change

doors through out all your offices. All control boards can be quickly
integrated into your computer network infrastructure by adding to them
LAN PCB. This will allow a deployment of monitored access on any
floor of your building or an office in other city or town, as long as you
have VPN connection between offices or a dial-up connection. Remote
control boards do not require constant connection with the main software
as they use own memory to authorise access and keep a log of activity,
which will be transferred to main data bases after the connection was re-
established.
Additional networked users can be added to do configuration and/or
report reviews by purchasing extra key-licences (HASP).
System Operation; Each employee and visitor will be issued with
personalised ID Access Card (RFID cards), which they would require to
access and leave the room, these actions will be recorded on the PC and
can be retrieved at any time. Visitors will be provided with temporary
card, which they would have to return when leaving the building and the
card can be programmed to be active for a certain time.
The software has a number of customisable templates of access reports,
which can be extracted in suitable for you format (Excel spreadsheet,
PDF file, etc.) for further analyzing or archiving.
Access control system is supplied with the back up batteries and fully
functional and independent from power cuts, computer failures, etc. In
case of the drop connection between PC and control board, it will store
all the events in build-in memory.
System Security; each issued ID card has a unique built-in RFID chip,
as well as it has a printed picture of employee. Additional security
measures can be added to the card by introducing a signature stripe on
cards and introducing a pin code for each card, which will be required to

Unmanned Access Control units are available in two variations – with
single full-height turnstile or with double full-height turnstile. The
difference in models is flow capacity – units with single full-height
turnstile are intended for sites with up to 200 staff, unless used minimum
in pairs and one unit set to act as an Entrance, where another one is an
Exit. Also, each unit with single full-height turnstile accommodates
emergency gate, which is released in case of emergency by breaking
glass in emergency button. Where is while using units with dual full-
height turnstiles such emergency exit should be foreseen in site plans.
