Finance
Give a definition for each of the terms listed
Self Financed – This is where the maker provides their own money to complete their
   project.

Employer/Client Financed – This is where the client pays someone else to do the job

your business to have it actually made as you don’t have the right amount of
    money to get it started.
Finance
Which source of funding will be most likely for your production and why?
The source we are most likely to use will be to be self financed as we will be able to
complete the jobs ourselves, with our funds and also having the ability to.

Advantages - We choose and do everything to how we want it to be without worrying
about someone else making it also we don’t have to pay as much money out.

Disadvantages – It may not be to the same standard as someone who makes the same
this type of product may have a lot more knowledge into the subject.
Finance
List the aspects of your production that will require finance –
Location/Studio hire
Printing
Food Ingredients
Time
What methods could you employ to ensure you stick to your deadlines and why
would this be beneficial to your project?
We will create a schedule to manage our time and know what to do at each stage. It
will help us hit the deadline with no delays.
Time
What is contingency time and how might this be beneficial to your project? –
Contingency time is if there’s something that goes wrong and stops your from
being able to do what you had planned, you have yourself another way or
something you could do instead to keep going with the project.
Personnel
What size team will you use for your production (large or small)? How many people
will you have in your team? Why? –In our team it will be just us two working on this
topic as we both have the knowledge to be able to create it ourselves also saving
costs on having to pay others to help us, although if we need to people we could
as people we know who could help us.
Personnel
What job roles would you have in your production and what skills and experience
would be required? - We will split each part of the creating part and give out the
parts to each other based on our strong points, we need a photographer for
images we will use and the creating the actually cards on the computer to printing.
Personnel
How could you find people to be in your production team? – We could advertise
certain jobs out only if we needed them to help us finish off the job to get the
  cards into production.
Facilities
List the equipment, resources and facilities you need for your production and its source
Equipment/Facility/Resources needed for College Self Client
                   production
                                 Camera Yes Yes

Computer Software and Hardware Yes Yes

                          Kitchen and equipment Yes

Photographer of Sourced Images Expert
Locations
What method could you employ to identify locations needed for your production
(production/ post production facilities) and how could this be useful?
We could conduct arecce as it can allow us to make a decision whether a location
should be used or not. They are useful as we can figure out how long it takes to
get somewhere, if it is what we need to use, if it is safe and how much money it is
    to use or get.
Locations
Are there any limitations or risks you would need to consider for your locations?
  Location Limitation/Risk
Kitchen Any equipment we could harm ourselves on.

Barbeque We could burn ourselves whilst making food to with this sort.

Takeaway Could take images of a delivery man and need to make sure if they’re moving they wont run you over.

      Picnic Natural hazards.
Codes of Practice - Clearances
What is a model/location release form and why is it important to your production? –
We wouldn’t need models for the photography we are going to do although we
may need release forms to go take images for our cards.
Codes of Practice - Legal
What legal requirements will you have to consider in your project and what aspects do they
relate to?
          Aspect of Production Legal Consideration
Location release forms Health and Safety

                   Images taken Copyright
Codes of Practice – Regulatory Bodies
Which regulatory body’s guidelines would you need to follow when creating your
production? – You could need to check the ‘ASA’ rules and regulations that have been
made and enforced to make sure they would be allowed to be sold or distributed.
