DISADVANTAGE OF THE STANDARD DESIGN :
 In the first case, the worm gear is assembled to mechanical shaft via close fit.
  The problem that the worm gear can be released while equipment is working because of production method has been
  observed in this type of mechanical slack adjuster.

ADVANTAGE OF THE IMPROVED DESIGN :
 This problem has been eliminated using Mono – block shaft in AYS mechanical slack adjusters.
  Service life of the equipment has been extended with this production method.
