application usage?
For licensed applications, there is a good mechanism to track usage
accurately, as described below: OpeniT collects data from various
sources:
• License managers such as FlexNet, IBM LUM,
Sentinel/Abacus
• OS kernel (also Citrix Metaframe and Windows Terminal
Servers)
• Application level wrapper
• The network (Oracle, internet services, Keyboard/Mouse
