Plus, your favorite burger will be named for you on our menu if your reign lasts at least a week! Helps encourage repeat visitors, and creates a fun game around frequenting your venue. The foursquare Mayor is the most frequent visitor to your venue over the past 60 days. This is a way to reward your best customer, while stoking competition for the prize. On your fifth time dining with us, meet the chef for the option of a custom meal not on the menu (at regular price)! Helps encourages people to stay loyal to your business and keep them coming back. Can also be used to try and increase short-term repeat customers, like trying to get people to come three times during a specific week. There are a few different ways to use Loyal Specials: Like a loyalty card or punch card, allowing customers to redeem a Special every X times they visit. As a one-time reward, for coming X times in total. To reward loyalty within a given time period: for X visits over the next Y days. 10. You don’t have to just rely on the foursquare application to motivate your customers to redeem Specials, though. Another great way to promote your foursquare Special is through all the ways you already speak to your customers, whether it’s online, in ads, or in your establishment. Businesses promote their involvement with foursquare via Twitter, signs at cash registers and sidewalk blackboards. Go for it, put up loads of custom signs and foursquare stickers in the entrance. 11. How does your staff know if a customer is eligible for a Special? Foursquare users ‘unlock’ Specials when they meet the Special’s specific conditions (for example, when they become Mayor or visit for the 10th time). The Special also changes color when it’s unlocked, making it easy for your employees to determine if a customer has qualified or not. On this screen, we also put the date and time the Special was unlocked. Finally, unlocked Specials are only available as long as the Special criteria is met, so you don’t have to worry about inappropriate usage. The best way for you to track redemptions is to have your employees enter a register or point-of-sale code that is unique to your foursquare campaign. Simply include this code in the text of your Special (for instance, have it say: ‘instructions to staff - enter code 4SQdiscount’) so that when a customer presents their phone to your employees for redemption, your staff can easily process it.
