For this course.
This course examines the Integration of ISTE
standards into classroom content standard
lessons. Students will examine ISTE standards
and the correlation to California Content
standards on technology. Students will
understand ISTE standards, available technology
and how to integrate them into classroom
lessons; Students will develop a unit lesson
integrating technology using content standard
lessons.
So what does that mean?
By the end of this class you will be
              able to:
 Apply knowledge of Internet safety.
 Analyze ISTE standards for students and
 teachers.
 Identify Web 2.0 technology available for
 classroom use.
 Demonstrate skill and knowledge of Web 2.0
 applications available for classroom use.
 Design a classroom lesson plans utilizing
 technology.
Week 1

Introduction to ISTE (International Society for
Technology in Education).

Internet Safety.

Begin developing Lesson integrating technology
Week 2

Introduction to Web 2.0.

Presentation of Prezi/ PowerPoint based on
classroom lesson.

Development of standards and objectives for unit
plan utilizing technology.
Week 3

Wiki collage of Web 2.0.

Presentation of classroom blog.

Finalization of lesson plan utilizing technology.
In addition you will:

Post in weekly Discussion boards

Posts weekly in a collaborative Brainstorm Blog

Create a collaborative Wiki based on Web 2.0

Explore Web 2.0 applications.

Create a Prezi/PowerPoint presentation.

Develop a lesson plan integrating Web 2.0
technology.
