before God who has given it to him.

 We are created in God’s image and
likeness
 God Continues to sustain our life
 It is redeemed by he precious blood
of Christ

5. As Mystery
 God who is a Mystery is dwelling in
us through the Holy Spirit sent by
the Risen Christ
 Always beyond human
comprehension

6. As Inviolable
 Reflection of the absolute
inviolability of God, finds its
primary and fundamental
expression and preservation of
human life
 We are all called to protect our life
and promote its goodness as well as
that of the others

7. Human life is freely given by God.
It is mysterious. It is inviolable. It
is sacred. These indicate that ‘the
basis for the extraordinary value
of human life is God. He is the
Lord and Giver of life, in whom
we live and move and have our
being’.

Owner
 We are stewards of life who must
respect and care for our own lives
and the lives of others.
 Life must be protected with the
utmost care from the moment of
conception

 It is exercised in our daily activities
which we can rightfully consider as
prolongation of God’s continuing
work of creating and a service to
our fellow men and women.

 Peer pressure
 To gain sense of belongingness
 Create a ‘macho image’
 To feel part of the upper class of
society

 Weakening of the reasoning power
and self-control
 Boisterous and aggressive behavior
 Loss of coordination and sense of
perception
 Violent emotional behavior
 Complete unconsciousness
