40. 1. Simple Fool
A simple fool, or peti, was a person who made
mistakes but quickly righted them and was
restored to fellowship with God and with others.
King David was a simple fool, one who made
mistakes, but kept a repentant heart toward God.
This is why God did not turn away from David for
his many sins.
41. 2. Hardened Fool - Prov. 1:31-32
The hardened fool, kesil and ewil, made mistakes, but
never learned from them and failed to listen to others.
Such people can expect God's reproof to continue and will
eat the fruit of their own way. The hardened fool "returns
to his own vomit." King Saul was a hardened fool, one who
made mistakes and continued in them even after realizing
he was wrong.
42. 3. Mocking Fool
The third level of fool mentioned in Proverbs is the
mocking fool or letz. The mocking fool mocks the things
of God. This word means "scoffer" or "scorner."
When you encounter cynical people who disregard the
things of God, you know these people are "mocking
fools."
43. 4. God-denying Fool
The fourth level of fool is the God-denying fool or
nabal. This term relates to the morally wicked
person who ignores the disgrace he brings on his
family and who despises holiness.
This person says, "There is no God." By failing to
acknowledge God for who He is, the nabal declares
himself to be a "God-denying" fool. (see Prov.
17:21).

198. The keys to getting through
your adversity are:
• Take one day at a time and ask God for grace for
that day only
• Don’t project outcomes to the future. In other
words, don’t think about all the ramifications of
what “may” happen resulting from your
circumstances
• Meditate on the Word of God and be obedient to
the small things He shows you.
199. Summary
• Your wilderness experience becomes your
authority to fulfill your destiny and purpose.
• It gives you the right to speak into the lives and
situations of others.
• God gives us experiences and expertise to solve a
problem.
• All “Josephs” are called to solve a problem.
200. Summary
• Like Joseph, God calls some leaders to experience
extraordinary levels of adversity in order to accomplish
extraordinary things through them.
• Joseph’s dreams had to die before they could come true.
• The pathway to leadership almost always takes us through
the valley of adversity.
• God is more concerned with future potential than present
circumstances.
• God often takes us through adversity to get our eyes off of
our own limitations so that we can see His limitless power.
201. Summary
• The greater and higher the calling, the more intense the adversity.
• The Judas Test is God’s graduate level course in faith, designed to
reveal the truth about ourselves: Are we willing to trust Him
enough to forgive the Judases in our lives?
• He will not elevate us if there is any root of bitterness in our lives.
• Satan will always tempt you in the place of your inheritance.
• It’s a paradox, but it’s true: God often calls us to a ministry and then
deliberately thwarts our efforts to achieve our goals!
• Sometimes God has to take us into the desert in order to get Egypt
out of our system.
202. Summary
• God’s provision and blessing do not always come at the
moment we act in obedience to His calling.
• The Judas Test is not about getting the results we want. It’s
about proving that we trust God enough to forgive our
Judases.
• It’s a mistake to try to rush the work God is doing in our
souls.
• Perseverance is the key to every great accomplishment
because nothing of lasting value has ever been achieved
without adversity.
203. Summary
• How can you tell when your trial will be over? When it
doesn’t matter anymore.
• Evil, suffering and death came into the world when the
first man and woman listened to Satan and committed
the first sin.
• Obedience can’t be viewed as an insurance policy
against adversity. Every blessing we receive is a gift of
His grace.
• Sometimes the adversity that comes into our lives is
the direct result of sin.
204. Summary
•It often takes a crisis to force us to examine ourselves.
•God doesn’t test us in order to find out something He doesn’t already
know. He tests us so that we can learn about ourselves and His love,
power and faithfulness.
•If you hope to succeed, learn everything you can from your failures.
•God sees failure as preparation for success.
•Our lives are framed by the events and experiences that God takes us
through, and our lives are defined by how we respond.
•But those who suffer [God] delivers in their suffering; he speaks to
them in their affliction” (Job 36:15).

His “boot camp” took 13 years that required separation from his former life, having his will and ability to control anything taken away, a breaking of his will, a continued confrontation of his own crisis of belief that God was a loving God and that He was still in control of the events in his life.

The single inner and single outer rim is constructed from hard rock maple. Steinway invented this process which permits the soundboard to be built into the rim. No part of the sounboard is forced down. The Steinway rim provides the solid foundation for proper stress-free mounting of the soundboard. The purpose of this construction is to provide sigular tonal resonance and construction stability.
After being guled the rims are removed from the presses, they are chalk-dated and stored upright in a conditioning room. There they relax from the tremendous shock of being bent. Rims remain in the conditioning room between 10 and 16 weeks depending on the thickness and size. The room's temperature is set at 85 degrees Fahrenheit; and the relative humidity is 45%.
In terms of design, materials and workmanship, the Steinway system of rim bending maintains ultra-high overall string tension, as well as down-bearing and side-bearing, almost indefinitely.
The method of rim bending was invented by C.F. Theodore Steinway. It became U.S. Patent no. 229298 on June 22, 1880. The original patented process is strictly adhered to today.
