New approaches to teaching, learning and assessment that: Recognise our diverse student intake Enhance student experience Aid retention Provide flexible delivery Develop transferrable skills for employability Excite and motivate students Recognising technological developments that provide opportunities for: Collaborative learning Increasing access to resources including user generated content A personalised web experience and syndication of web content Accessing learning through mobile devices

Recognising the trend towards increased disaggregation and open content – the University’s role will increasingly become one of aggregator, moderator and interpreter, rather than content provider. Increasing student access to technologies including mobile devices provides new opportunities for supporting learning and providing feedback to students.
  3. Investing in resources for teaching Classroom refurbishment Development of a key text collection and expansion of eResources to support teaching and research Taking steps to mitigate against the cost and risk that can be associated with increasing use of technology.
