1. About the questionnaire: I deliberately asked ten males and ten females to answer my questionnaire, this way I can get some fair result for my music magazine. The people I asked are from all age group as I’m interested is ‘does age affect what types of music you chose to listen to’. As very common, young people don’t often like country music, but there’s the rare one or two people. It’s mostly older generation probability because it was more popular in their time and can relate to their past, however I chose to do Country music as my music magazine genre. It’s because I want to see what if you can mix the modern style and some thing more classic together to make it more familiar, more accessible in some ways. And here are my results from my questionnaire:
2. The questionnaire response: My first question, is asking their age. This way I could see what age group of people like what type of music genre referring to their age. My second question, I asked 10 males and 10 female, this makes it equal and not biased. Are you female or male? How old are you? My third question, asking do they buy music magazine, to see are there any buyers, to make sure I’ll make a profit than a losing investment. And I asked why when they say no and reason being. Would you buy a music magazine? If ‘no’ why? I gave them four options, it’s too expensive (E), it doesn’t have reviews/interviews inside (R/I), not the most exciting magazine (NEM), Doesn’t have free poster (FP).
3. My fifth question, I wasn’t sure what the main image would be either a artist or a band, and the result came back as a draw. My sixth question, What’s is your personal opinion on Country music? It’s good It’s ok I don’t like it I never heard of it 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 Looking at these results, it seem a lot of people dislike it, however it also reveals that there are people who don’t mind country music, even think it’s good. It shows there is hope for this type of genre. Ninth question, I asked what free gift would people like in their music magazine a CD or a poster. Tenth question, do they prefer reading interview or review. And interview it is by two. This way the reader get to know more about these artist or band.
