       The application use the Emergency manual as a coded
        configuration.

    communication exchange during maxi emergencies
    in hospital and large areas
       cut down intervention and communication time
       improve coordination and organization of medical personnel.
       facilitate access to logistic and operative information
       inform personnel about emergency status and/or its
        inception/occurrence,
       recall of personnel from other areas.
   emergencies can be related to
       internal events (such as fire, broken pipes, etc.),
       external events (for example the sudden arrival in the hospital
        of hundreds of new patients due to a terrorist attack, a natural
        disaster, etc.)

   based on a mobile device (Phone, iPad,
    iPod) and a server to be used by the
    medical and paramedical staff to
       communicate inception of emergencies,
       communicate with the central emergency
        services,
       organize groups of intervention and
        support,
       get the closest exits, planned and dynamically adapted
        (with and without connection, in the first case),
       create collaborations, to obtain help by skilled people,
       access prescriptions and guidelines regarding
        procedures, dosages, and thus a decision support system
        via Mobile Medicine

   interactive guidelines/procedures to help users to
    remind of the correct procedures and help them in taking
    decisions on the specific cases and pathologies.
       examples are: ECMO, BLS, Triage, ACLS, EGA, Nasogastric, Tachycardia,
        neurological classification, antibiotic therapy, etc.
   calculators and tools which are interactive applications
    where the user may insert data/info collected out of the
    patient/context (such as: age, weight, pressure,
    temperature, habits, symptoms, conditions, reactions, etc.)
    to obtain from the device/content some
    estimations/suggestions to be used to take decisions.
       Example: drug dosages, APACHE2 score, SAPS Score, SOFA Score,
        “Profilassi Ulcere”, the estimation about the probability of pulmonary
        emboli, the estimation of a dosage on the basis of patient weight, the
        estimation of fat percentage, the suggestion of a prescription about what you
        could eat, the assessment of neurological conditions on the basis of standard
        quantitative models, dosages for cardiac disease, etc.
