The B2 Channel Doc Generator is a tool which allows banks to automatically generate documentation such as Message Implementation Guides (MIG's) for their clients from a single central data repository. This ensures that the client documentation only contain the information relevant to a client's requirements and are always produced using the most up to date information.

3. Introduction
• The B2 Channel Doc Generator is specifically designed and built for the automated
generation of client documentation
• Examples of client-facing documents that can be generated by the B2 Channel Doc
Generator include:
– ISO XML 20022 Version 3 Credit Transfer Message Guides
– ISO XML 20022 Electronic Account Management Messages
– Overview Guides for the ISO XML 20022 functionality offered by the bank
• The B2 Channel Doc Generator generates bank-specific content and layout for each type of
document
• The B2 Channel Doc Generator generates client specific documents containing only the
message types relevant to the client’s requirements
• The B2 Channel Doc Generator uses a single shared database to ensure that all documents
refer to current master data
• The B2 Channel Doc Generator is hosted by B2 TDI and is accessed through the use of a
Virtual Desktop, which does not require software to be installed on the user desktop.

4. The Documentation Tool – Action Bar
The left hand side of

5. The Documentation Tool – Main Window
This area of the B2 Channel Doc Generator is reserved to display further selection options to
the user, depending on the document type that has been selected in the Documents list

6. ISO 20022 Credit Transfer Country Specific Guide
On selecting the option of ‘V3
CT Guide’ on the Documents
list, detailed selection options
will be displayed. The option
are:
•Method of payments
•Region
•Countries and
•Individual Messages
Each of the 4 options above
supports multiple selection.
For example, the user can
select the ACH Credits, Check
and Drafts together.

automatically when the user
has selected the regions

This method is ideal for the user to generate a document set with a handful of the country specific messages in PDF
format. If the selection of messages is large, the user is recommended to generate the document set using Excel
instead of PDF, in which case each message will be presented in an Excel Column and the client can select
horizontally in the Excel to review all the message.
Alternatively, the user can use the Group by Country option next to the Output the document in PDF option at the
bottom of the main window. The Group by Country Option will group the output of the message by country such that
each Excel worksheet will contain messages for one country. In PDF, the guide will be presented with multiple
sections, in which each section contains the messages of one country.

9. ISO 20022 EBAM Message Guide
The content of the Message selection list is populated with the
choice of Message Types. The user can select multiple EBAM

11. Overview Guides
