• The nodes of the network represent destinations where users view
content and follow or like other users.
• Users choose specific destinations to congregate depending on their
personal networks and preferences.
• The more nodes that are included in the social media strategy, the
more followers and views are aggregated across the network in total.
• Twitter provides the communication lines between the nodes across
the network. The twitter stream carries content in the form of links
and hash-tags provide content organization and amplification.
• The goal of the social media network strategy is to drive traffic to the
central web or blog site where the content is ultimately aggregated
and the visitors is engaged further and called to take further action.
